Jisung had to sit through an entire alliance meeting knowing damn well that Minho was in the room next to him. All he could think of was him, how soft his skin was to the touch and how much his eyes made him melt.
He couldn't believe his eyes, even at this point, even after speaking to him one phrase. He felt like he spoke to a ghost.
"Jisung." Hyunjin pushed him on the leg when he saw that he was drifting off and the north king took back his concentration.
"And so a marriage needs to occur for our kingdoms to be united" he smiled and jisung looked back at the king.
"I don't agree upon those terms. I don't have an heir and even if I did, she would be too young to marry your eldest son..." he spat every word and the king suddenly furrowed his eyebrows.
"I do not see the problem...I've heard of a young princess you are raising in the north..."
She is Minho's daughter, which meant Chan was her uncle, but of course the king didn't know that.
Jisung knew.
"There will be no such pact, and there will be no marriage. I propose a contract, we both sign and each of our descendants will claim our own thrones"
"That is ridiculous. We have had this tradition for thousands of years."
"And I'm changing it. But don't worry, there will be a celebration, a huge party hosted here. I know how much you enjoy them. A night to celebrate the new alliance...a day to remember" he smiled slightly and the king stared at him, thinking.
"It is tradition."
"It is also tradition to honour the dead...and putting my father's head on a spike is a sin concerning respect...my breach of rules does not include decapitation."
The king almost groaned and jisung stood his ground.
"May I remind you that you are not here to represent the south. You are here to represent the north."
"The person I cared most about is dead because of you...I shall never forgive or make you forget what you did." Jisung clenched his teeth.
"Your father was no king."
"I am talking about my sister." Jisung knew a lot more, he was the reason his twin sister was gone and buried in white roses.
The king of the west froze and stared at him.
"What do you know...?"
"Too much. In fact, so much that now you're going to listen to me. You wouldn't want anyone to find out that you killed the princess as well, when she did nothing."
"You don't know what your starting."
"You started it the second you stepped foot in my kingdom." Jisung leaned in with deadly eyes and glared.
"Now you're going to listen carefully..." jisung whispered.

Chan had taken Minho back to their room and locked the door.
"What is it you wanted to tell me earlier?" Their conversation had been cut short when a guard called them for the ceremony, so now it was finally time for the truth.
"I owe you an explanation..." Minho stated and it felt like his breath was cut short. "I am not who I say I am..."
Chan tilted his head and faced him.
"You are finally telling me who you are Snow?" He smiled, but Minho kept a stern face.
"I don't know where to start..."
"Is this about...yesterday night?" He lowered his eyes, embarrassed.
"In a way yes..."
"I'm really sorry, I don't know what came over me- I drank too much a-and took it out on you. I was just so panicked about the wedding-"
"It's alright Chan...but this won't be easy to hear"
"Okay...tell me"
"My name isn't really Snow...it's Lee Minho"
Chan widened his eyes and furrowed his brows.
"If you think this is a joke." He angrily got up but Minho shook his head.
"The scar on my stomach...I survived my execution. I became a slave because they didn't know what to do with me. I was born north and my mother was killed in front of me when I was very young...I'm the prince of crows...I'm..."
"You're my brother..." Chan became much paler and sat back down on the bed, putting a hand on his mouth. "And we..."
"Yes...we did"
They both looked at each other and couldn't find the right words to say.
"I..." Chan tried to start but stopped himself for a few seconds, regaining his breath. "I always wanted to meet you...never expected it to be this way."
"Trust me, that makes two of us" Minho sighed and looked out the window. "At least now I understand why you don't want to marry"
"Why do you say that?"
"Well since you're a bottom it's quite hard to-"
Chan threw him a pillow and Minho chuckled.
"Oh shut it!" He exclaimed and Minho threw the pillow back.
"I'm just being honest!"
They both laughed and Chan blushed, completely embarrassed.
"Gods...how can we ever get over this?"
"Listen, it happened. Let's just focus on the futur, one where two brothers unite"
"Okay...I can work with that" chan smiled widely and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Let's just keep it low for now, wouldn't want anyone knowing about us, w-well the fact that we're brothers"
"Of course...actually, speaking about that, I need a favour"
"Of course, anything"

Jisung exited the meeting and walked on the halls, searching for Minho, he needed to see him, to know he was real, that it was really him.
"Your majesty" a guard called and jisung didn't pay much attention to him.
"I am busy" he said and kept walking around every inch of the place.
"You've been requested at the-"
"I don't have time" he said in a hurry and the guard followed him still.
"He said you'd say that, so he told me to give this to you"
Jisung turned around and looked at the silver necklace that dangled in his hand. He widened his eyes and took the moon shaped necklace.
"Take me to him."
