.a few weeks later.
"So you are telling me you had this whole thing planned?" Chan asked while we laced up his chest piece, with golden threads mined in the mountain sides.
"From the very start yes." Jisund laid back on the couch lazily, Minho next to him. "I had guessed your father would pick you, but it did not matter, it was simply a matter of distractions." The two lovers stayed quite apart, since there were maids and other citizens in the room attending the futur king of the west.
"Nervous?" Minho chuckled and watched his priceless face as he looked at the crown.
"Obviously." He groaned and looked at Minho. "I mean...you were also destined for the crown. Did you ever feel unworthy or unprepared? Even after years of training...?"
"Everyone feels this way...every prince should, it makes you more wary of what you need to do"
"I suppose..." chan nodded. "What about you? Did you ever feel this way jisung?"
"I was not trained to be king, I was thought I would be nothing." Jisung said and realize his words might seem too cold. He then awkwardly shifted and took their attention again. "What I meant was...even with no training what so ever I was able to restore the economy in the north and bring down crime statistics by 20%. You have what I wish I had, you are kind, you have empathy for your people and you think with your heart. You will lead well, I have no doubt"
"Thank you...both of you..." chan smiled and they finally finished putting on his traditional outfit for these types of ceremonies.
"Besides I am only acting king of the north, like a herald until Minho heads back. After this ceremony we will head north to make arrangements"
Minho seemed to widen his eyes at that statement, almost moved by it.
"Have I said something wrong?" Jisung furrowed his brows in concern, which was the most emotion he would show in front of others.
"No it's just...I'll finally get to go home after...years..." it seemed euphoric to go back, last time he had been in the castle, he had shared his first kiss with Jisung. That was a long time ago.
"Yes well, your crown there is well deserved, I will step out from that post. Then we will head south to reclaim you the sun lands"
"That's a shame..."
"How is my planning a shame? Do I need to recalculate?"
Minho chuckled and tried to remain as neutral as possible.
"No it's just...you make a great king"
"So will you." He said unemotionally, simply taking a sip from the dry wine on his side.
"I meant, it's sad you have to drop your post"
"I do not care for a high position, like I said, I was thought to be worthless, anything is better then that. I am glad to serve under you, crow prince" again, a very cold approach.
"What then?" Minho seemed to be closer then he initially was to Jisung, their knees almost touching. Jisung had noticed but rather speak nothing of it.
"What do you mean?"
"After i become king, after we retake the south...what then?"
Jisung drank all of the warm wine by his side and used his thumb to wipe away the excess on his lips.
"Then we finally live."

It wasn't long before the ceremony began and everyone in the kingdom gathered for the coronation of Chan. Surprisingly enough, he looked calm and confident, proud event. Minho smiled on the first row as he was official announced as king.
Everyone cheered and the ceremonies began.
Jisung was oddly quiet next to him, another cup of wine in his hand, it had been his forth now. He was still standing coherently, for someone who had drank this much.
Chan was dancing with the people of his town, bringing so many smiles. They were mostly woman who asked him, hoping to sway him away, until one boy stepped up.
"Could I please ask for a dance of you my lord?" He was young, yet his body was prime and heavy with well fitted muscles. He was taller then the king and had this very tan skin, along with a pair of golden eyes and black hair. It is safe to say that Chan accepted soon after and tried to hide his smile as best he could. He was melting.
"What is your name?"
"I rather not say your honour, I have no title that is worth"
"I did not ask for a title...I simply want your name"
"It is Elias...my king"
"It sounds southern..." Chan mumbled and Elias nodded.
"Yes, I am one of few who managed to run away from the south before it became...ashes." He said and drifted off into thought. "No matter, it was an honour to meet you, but it appears a lot of ladies want your attention" he gave him a sympathetic look, but Chan didn't let go of his hand.
"Actually...I am free all evening after this...if you'd want to...talk" chan didn't quite find the words, only the look in his eyes that meant everything.
"Yes I would love to...talk" he smiled and drew apart. "I will see you soon"
Chan excused himself and ran after Minho.
"Minho. I cannot flirt for shit." He groaned and his brother besides him laughed without shame.
"I can see that, you were practically red"
"You're not helping!" He hid his face in his hands and looked around. "What am i supposed to do if I'm alone with him...I'll tense up again"
"Drink a bit of alcohol, that seemed to put you in the mood last time-" they book looked at each other and gagged.
"I wish I could forget we-"
"You and me both."
"Yes that's the problem."
Minho's attention was caught by Jisung's posture. It was slightly tilted and he was leaning on a wall, which he rarely did except when...
Oh...
Minho smiled to himself widely and excused himself, walking up to him.
"My king" he tried to hard not to smile, but lost it when Jisung turned around with glossy eyes and red cheeks.
Jisung was heavily drunk. Yet, holding another cup.
Minho had never seen him drunk before.
"Take me to the chamber." Jisund said without a shame, as if no one could hear. Minho felt his stomach flip and his mouth soak. He was curious, but mostly needy. With all the meetings and the arrangements, they had not been able to see each other alone.
Jisung took a single step and stared deep into his eyes.
"Take me. To the chamber."
"Is that a threat?" Minho smirked.
"An order."
"I didn't know you can't take your alcohol very well"
"Well now you do." he tumbled on the wall and Minho took him by the shoulders and a hand on his rib cage. They stepped outside of the party and were guided across the halls by Jisung's half functional brain, pointing into random halls and hiccups echoed on the walls.
"We're here" he opened the door calmly and they stepped inside. As soon as they were in, Minho closed the door and was surprised to feel Jisung behind him.
When he turned around, Jisung had leaned over him, pushing Minho against the door and looking up at him with lustful eyes.
"I-..." he held the words he rarely spoke anymore, words he had trouble formulating.
"You...?" Minho echoed in response and lifted his chin up.
Jisung undid his own shirt and let it fall to the ground.
"I...want you." He mumbled, almost a soft whispered.
"Say that again for me...please"
"I want you."
