" Is that a hickey I see?" Lily prods as his neck and Severus flinches at the unexpected poke.
" Hey watch it." He smacks her hand gently and she grins.
" Oooh. Who's the lucky girl?" Andromeda slides in out of no where whilst his eyes are glued onto a chart.
" You got a girlfriend?" Narcissa asked and Severus shook his head.
" I'm married."
" Who's the lucky wife then?"
" husband." Severus corrects again and Andromeda almost drops her jaw to the floor. Severus just continued to ignore their confused and oddly delighted looks by staring at the chart.
They're at lunch in the canteen but half of them are always working anyway.
" You have a husband? Since when? I didn't even know you were married!" She yells and her sister pats her back as a warning.
" Andy not so loud." Narcissa scolds.
" Sorry sorry. I've never seen your husband, can I meet him?" Andromeda asks immediately and Severus shakes his head.
" Nope."
" Why?"
" I don't want you to scare him off."
" You already have him locked, why would he run?"
" You're that scary." He finally drops the chart and crosses his arms.
Andromeda scoffs and looks at everyone else like what he just said was preposterous.
" You are scary. The residents call you the drill sergeant." Narcissa enlightens her and Andromeda scoffs.
" You're a dermatologist, what would you know." She waves her off and Severus shakes his head.
" Anyway, Severus isn't all sunshines either. I was so scared to talk to him i had to get you as my messenger." Andromeda points at Lily with her spork and Lily rolls her eyes.
" He just looks scary."
" Acts scary too."
" What was that?" Severus' eyes snap up and Narcissa looks down.
" The reason why the interns call you a ghost isn't because you wear black or because of your death bed skills. It's because you scare the living shit out of them." Andromeda explains and her sister just furrows her eyebrows.
" I'm scary?"
" Sev, you're 6'1 with tattoos covering your entire right arm and an attitude like a wasp. I don't think you realize it but you also kinda have anger issues."
" Me?!" He raises his voice and they jump.
He looks down at the rable and curls his hand into a fist, dropping it below the table.
" Sorry."
" It's ok." Lily pats his arm and Andromeda smirks.
" It's working for you though. It's why McGonagal likes you so much, everyone else is a softy." She pokes Narcissa's arm and her sister just stares at her with offense.
" I'm tough."
" Please. You're too regal for that."
" Regal??"
They start their own mini argument eventually, like they always do and Severus turns to Lily.
