"lani"my assistant said I turned around she gave me this bag

"mama D"she said i nodded I looked in the bag i had more test tubes and this small bottle i sighed i put gloves on im a neuroscientist mainly but i dip in alot of shit a lot and my mom and dad they kinda live like a double life if you get it my dad is a fucking 6ft albino why did she marry that fuck ass hypocrite i do not know
he killed my last boyfriend because he said he "wasn't treating me right" but he wasn't the one in the relationship ever since then its been a bridge between me and him hes been trying so hard to cross it and everytime he tries he gets halfway and thats it i seen three police officers my mom and dad are always getting me caught up in their stupid ass games i closed the bags putting my glasses back on

"look i have research to do i have samples to test im a busy woman i dont have all day"i said

"you have a good day Ms.Berkeley"they said walking out i grabbed my phone pressing my moms contact she immediately picked up

"yea i got them cut the chat though some police officers just tried to question me"i said the line got quiet before she spoke again

"they asked me how i was related to yall and i said yall were my parents they asked what yall did for work and i said the usual tax attorneys then they gone say some shit like you know lying to police is against the law man ion know but what whats this about"i said

dont get me wrong i love my parents i love my family but they need to stop dragging me into their mess im just a 20 year old who wants a regular life regular relationship regular family regular everything they forced me into this career to do their work for them
dont get me wrong i already contemplated on going this route they just kept pushing at me im about to become a lawyer just for them now i do have some self things i do lashes but thats it every other thing i do is for them its like i dont have control over my own life
