Kehlani's Pov Current Location: The Hospital Atlanta, Ga 12:05am
I was woken up to extreme pain like i felt as if the baby was crowning i hadnt ate i hadn't got out this bed just been laying here dealing with these contractions and the epidural did not work i could feel everything
"kazimir"i said he turned around
"whats wrong"he said he slept during the day so he could be up at night just incase and he was right
"i think the babys coming"i said as soon as i said that a nurse walked in
"just check-"
"the babys coming"i said kazimir grabbed my hand she walked over turning the lamp on she raised my legs up checking
"we have to wait for the doctor"she said
"no i cant do that the baby is coming right now"i said
"honey im sorry but we have to wait"she said
"dont push"she said
"i cant"i said
"kaz please"i said looking at him more nurses ran in they checked me and i was 10 cm dilated it was time to push i wanted to push when i had a contraction i felt the baby start crowning
"keep going mama your almost done"he said i knew he was lying but he was just trying to make me feel better
"push momma push"they yelled
"i cant"i said
"you can you have to"they said kazimir held my leg up as I pushed when they told me to push and stopped when they told me to stop kazimir went down there he helped them deliver the baby i heard crying the tears ran down my face i still had to push the placenta out Kazimir laid the baby on my chest
"its a girl mama"he said that made me cry more but i was just happy i have a healthy baby she was chunky though

i pressed the button that played the lullaby and everything set in im really a mother shes 9 pounds and 13 ounces her name is Ka'Ziyah I wasn't even mad that I didn't have my boy I instantly fell in love with her as soon as she opened her eyes to look at me kazimir cut her cord as soon as he got her into his hands
he hasnt put her down since shes been laying on his chest this whole time he hasn't even let the nurses do their jobs they would take her do their thing and then put her right back in his arms when they took her for testing he went and stood outside the door
right now theyre both sleeping shes in her little glass thing im wide awake because i had already slept he kept her quiet the whole time now its my turn shes already breastfeeding its christmas eve our parents are on the way i raised up looking at my phone
it was 10:25pm i just want some food cause that hospital food was not they plan on letting us go home tomorrow if all the tests come back ok i got up going to my bag i got some clothes out i grabbed my toiletries going to the bathroom
I started the water i took a nice long warm shower i got out doing my personal hygiene and shit i felt refreshed and good very good to say i just pushed out a 9 pound baby some hours ago i walked out putting my stuff back she started whining i walked over
"oh mami"i said picking her up i kissed her forehead getting in the bed it was a nice environment the light was shining through the windows the tv was playing lowly and we had these little sounds on i undid her swaddle laying her down I changed her and made sure she was clean before putting her swaddle back on i took a picture of her hand not her face of course posting it the door opened and a nurse walked in
"would you like for her to have her first bath"she said i looked at her
"uhm- nah"i said
"no ok"she said
"thank you"i said she walked out she opened her eyes they were like a blueish brown hopefully they turn out like mines i put her pacifier in her mouth i had these short french tips I could have got them shorter but its ok

theyre easier for me anyway i always got long ass nails so this was my first short pair our parents walked in and kazimir turned around he sat up
"shes so beautiful"my mom said i told them i wanted my dad to hold her before anybody else did family wise not Kazimir my dad washed his hands and stuff and walked around i sat up putting her in his hands after he passed her to Kazimirs dad kazimir was in the bathroom getting himself together they gave her to my mom then his mom then back to me and thats it she stayed with me until Kazimir came out the bathroom he grabbed her and put the blanket over her
"your a father now dude"his dad said patting his shoulder

i demolished that food he got some shack shake and i killed it every single thing hes such a good father to her already he kissed my forehead
