I was woken up to painful ass contractions they were like 8-10 minutes apart the lasted 45 secs to a minute i got up off the couch i made my way upstairs to the room kazimir was sleeping i went to the bathroom i was able brush my teeth and do my personal hygiene but right after I finished another one came through so i tapped Kazimirs arm
"hmm"he said I couldn't even tell him what was wrong but he knew he got up rubbing my back
"i got you squeeze my hand"he said I followed suit squeezing his hand I started having contractions at 9 in the morning yesterday but they were just uncomfortable wasnt too bad but this is different we haven't even packed the bags yet the contraction stopped and he went to the bathroom he quickly brushed his teeth and washed his face
"lets pack these bags real quick"he said i nodded we got all our bags and I picked out some outfits we got neutrals color or white outfit i sat down
"relax i got it"he said kissing my forehead

he put his hands on my thighs following my movements it was now 6am and the contractions had gotten worse
"i think its time for us to go Kaz"i said
"if you ready lets go"he said getting up off the ground he grabbed my hands helping me out if we get to the hospital and they send us home ima be mad once cause these contractions kicking my ass and two i really want our baby here for christmas it's literally the 23rd
we got all our shit i agreed to let him bring his game because if hes calm he can keep me calm and then boom my plan was to go natural but the way these contractions feeling im second guessing that shit we got in the car pulling off driving towards the hospital
I wasn't having no contraction right now so we were able to walk in Kazimir got this big boost of energy he had me laughing so thats good he was skipping and shit i shook my head and we went up to labor and delivery
we had to wait for a room to get open and that wasn't until two hours later at 8 my contractions had gotten worser they finally admitted us and took us to our room they hooked me up and gave me a dose of something i was only 4cm dilated but they wanted to keep me
"I want my momma"i said im a grown woman but i still need my mother
"ill call her ok"he said i nodded he walked over by me and grabbed my hand he took his phone out going to his contacts i closed my eyes as i felt another contraction coming i squeezed his hand i heard the facetime sound then i heard her voice
"moMMA"i progressively got louder i heard my mother laugh
"whats wrong"i heard he ready
"we just got admitted in the hospital shes in active labor an-"
I took the phone out his hand
"ok then"he said
"momma are yall coming"i said
"what time do visitors start"she said i looked at Kazimir he laughed a little
"9 ma"he said
"9"i said
"we'll be there 9 sharp"she said i nodded i got sad cause i wanted them here
"they coming mama"he said kissing my forehead

"damn but look"he said I opened my eyes to see our families walking in
"what the fuck is this a family reunion or sumn"i said they laughed i closed my eyes i felt that was the only way that i could focus on the contractions if I didn't i was in more pain

"5 cm dilated as of the last check"i said
"are you getting the epidural"his grandmother said

i stopped talking feeling a contraction I squeezed Kazimirs hand until it went away I explained to them why I couldn't get it they said the person wasn't here so thats that
