Jisoo

Bypassing my superior would be one of those rules I'll defy heavily up to this day.

Desparate times breed desparate measures.

Going directly to Senior Sup Song would make Sup Jang berserk, but I have to do it. I know its unethical too, but I disclosed the information I had about the serial killing case to Senior Sup.

And once again, I followed up my countless application on the crimes division and express my intent badly, especially solving this case.

The universe might have conspired, or Song was impressed or whatever, my transfer was approved, directly instructed by Song. He said he will disclosed my transfer once we all meet.

He immediately called an emergency meeting the day after we talked, me taking the lead. Jang had his hair literally falling down as he grabbed them frustratingly as I laid down the matrix of the couple serial killing case, the same information I laid to our senior.

"First victims were the Kim couple. 28 and 23, the female victim was 12 weeks pregnant. The second, Jang couple, 30 and 25, the female was 10 weeks pregnant and the recent one, the Chengs, 25 and 23, 12 weeks pregnant. The first pattern, all are newly weds, and are expecting a baby."

Everyone's eyes were on me.

"All of the female victims were stabbed to death, while the male victims were killed in different ways. Head smashed for the first, the second was stabbed to death like the wife, and the last one was a slit to the throat. All of the ladies were sexually assaulted and recorded on the phone left beside the victim." I explained further.

"No murder weapons were found on the crime scenes for all three instances, no forced entries, no visibility on CCTV cameras as if he studied the area carefully."

Namjun chuckled. "He's like a ghost killer. No traces. That's why the investigation of the past murders were not going through.

"That's right." I nodded. "All investigation of the past two murders lead to nowhere, like everything was a dead end."

Murmurs around spread like fire.

"How are you keeping tabs on these Jisoo?" It was Seungjo who asked.

"They pique my interests Sup. The first case, which happened in Hanrim three years ago captured my attention. I found it very brutal and creepy, so I follow the investigation thoroughly and sadly, it remained unresolved up until now. Then six months ago, I heard almost the same case. A lot of similarity on the patterns. The situation of the victims, their situations, the mutilated wedding pictures. It was very settling for me. I watched over the second case but same as the first, it was unresolved. And now another similar case just this week. Two instances could be coincidences though the similarities are too obvious, make it three, then I strongly believe that's counted as serial killing. Three events, three separate times, three locations."

"Hanrim, Seongsan, Seogwipo." I pointed the locations of the killings on the screen.
