Day 21, D-20

Jisoo

I've been inside the bathroom this morning for the third time, throwing up relentlessly and it felt like my stomach had turned upside down already. Haein was tailing me like an obedient dog, observing and not leaving my side. The fourth time was the longest my tummy had been acting up, and his face was already crumpled, concern lacing up his voice every time he'd asked me if I am okay.

It was totally weird this morning, it felt like our little baby dino was freed from something, was making sure its presence was felt, heavily manifested on today's morning sickness.

Haein quickly left the bathroom and returned with a hand towel. He dampened it and gently wipe my face using it to freshen me up. I really looked awful. I rested my palm against the bathroom sink and I felt extremely tired and hungry after my fourth. There's nothing I could throw up anymore, I think every single fluid in my body was kicked out.

"Our baby's really making us feel she's with us." He mumbled at the back of my head. He was caressing my back lightly as I tried to catch my breath.

"She?" I incredulously asked.

"A mini Jisoo." He happily noted. "Just a wild guess."

"Pretty like me?"

"Tough, brave and pretty like her mom."

His arms engulfed me and I rested my head on his back briefly. Since last night, his hands favorite destination is my belly.

"Hey little dino." He whispered in a cackling tone, head nestling against my neck. "Don't make it too hard for mom. Hold onto her tight, okay?"

Yes, baby. Hold on tight to mommy.

I tilted sideways to look a him. "You sounded better now than last night."

He gave my cheek a kiss. "I was emotional and so worried last night. But you were damn right. I have to get all my shit together. I now have two babies to protect."

One of his hand stayed at my belly, the other one moved up to my shoulder, wrapping it around me. He pressed his lip against my hair. I'm thoroughly relieved he was much more okay now. He turned me around and gave me a big and warm bear hug. I just buried my nose against his chest, sniffing him.

It was somehow therapeutic.

He was hugging me, swaying me to a little dance. Intimate moments like this keeps me sane in this crazy mission.

"I love you Kim." He blurted out of nowhere.

My stomach growled loudly. I am starving. Of course it's not our baby.

"Someone's competing with me for your attention Jung." I noted playfully, making fun of my stomach growls. He pulled away and crouched a little, swiping my shirt a bit up.

"Hey little baby." He smiled at my tummy, placing tiny kisses over it. "I love you." He said softly as if he's really talking to a baby.

"It isn't a full baby yet." I teased. Technically, five weeks might basically just a blood.

"At least her mom could hear that I love her."

"You are seriously claiming a baby girl."

"Gut feels." He shrugged.

His lovingly gaze returned to me, and he stood up, giving me a soft peck. He tapped the tip of my nose. "I love her mom too." Him whispering as his lips landed on my forehead.

"I know. You always remind me." I answered, pinching his cheeks.

"I'll never get tired saying it, more so over making you feel that I really do, Kimmy."
