Jisoo

I was just too stunned to speak.

He was an asshole, check.
He was a jerk, check.
He was freaking annoying, check.
He was a walking law code which I hate the most, check.

But when he commanded the bartender for an ice pack and how he said Now.

But when he punched that scumbag on the face.

He's cute. Check.
He's hot. Triple check.

How his jaws clenched, how his fist turned from pale to all white.

How he strode to the dance floor to pick him up probably to make him as a punching bag.

A part of me regretted that I stopped him from punching.

No, my concern is not actually for him, but for the other guy.

Because Jung looked totally homicidal.

And what topped them all?

I was so used of getting kicked, slapped, and punched.

Police officers either shrugging them off or we were all laughing at it.

But for the very first time, someone had actually checked on me, offered an icepack for my face.

My first.

Jisoo Kim.

STOP.

The entire bar was on a chaotic state. Sirens of police cars can now be heard. Since all of us were off duties, we contacted police officers on duty and they picked up the guy for questioning. The manager of the bar and the head of their security came with the officers to file a formal complaint.

Jung was sitting in an elevated stool, a mixture of frustrated, disappointed and mad version of himself. And yeah he's still mad. To the guy or to himself? I don't know.

Insub and Namjun approached him, and I could saw his jaw moving as he talked to them. Then his eyes darted on me, and then back to them, nodding. I was just observing them not too afar. Then our eyes met again.

I don't know why suddenly, my heart's acting up like in a drum roll or something.

I am not the type to shy away.

My stares to him were not backing down.

And those stares he had on me were no longer stolen glances.

He stood up, following Namjun and Insub who's both walking towards my direction.

"Kim...." Namjun called me. "Bring Haein home. The car service will be available tomorrow morning. Both of you are practically living blocks away."

My brows went an inch higher.

"Me?"

"Seeing any Kim around?" Insub sneered and I wanted to kick him on the leg.

"I don't think she's okay with it." Jung slyly commented.

My brows ridiculously curled.

"I'm driving him home." I confirmed confidently.

Insub and Namjun threw their hands on us as we watched them depart from the car's parking lot. We were both silent as we approached my car.

"Can I drive?" He asked, looking at my car.
