Haein
"What are you doing at Jisoo's house?"
My sister lead the way inside my apartment the moment I opened the door. She comfortably sank at the couch, placing my package above the center table. Apparently, the courier she's referring to is herself. A surprise visit for me.
But not her visiting me at Kim's house.
"Should I ask you the same? What are you doing at her house, or should I say on her bed? You only told me you like her. You never mentioned you already like each other and were on a level wherein you're on top of each other at bed and---
"Gene..." I interrupted immediately.
"I am nowhere like Jisoo's brother. I am not stupid nor dumb Haein, and I knew you down to the core." She paused, looking at me dearly.
"You are definitely not the type to be playful around woman because that's just isn't you, but there I was earlier, watching you having empty thoughts but only her. We came inside and both of you were not seeing anyone apart from yourselves, you did not even notice us entered the house."
"I am just comfortable around her, you know that."
"You know the entire team always poke fun at you for being so stern, being calm, being so at peace we are all waiting you either you lose yourself happy, or you lose your shit. So, was it official?"
"It was mutual understanding. We are not yet official."
My sister's eyebrows arched miles up.
"You are not together, but you like each other mutually. That's very elementary." She exclaimed.
"Coming from you who never had a boyfriend even once." I retorted. She stood up and punched my arm strongly. "That's totally foul." She muttered angrily.
"How did you found me there?" That question had been in my mind the moment I saw her.
"You gave me your plate number remember. So I thought the apartment was your house. I was standing there when he came and he said he knew who the owner was. I thought he's under your team. He comfortably came inside the house so I thought you were expecting him. You two were running around and he was nailed at the door until you both went inside the bedroom. We could still hear your loud laughter until it became silent. That's the time he barged in. Or rather we barged in."
I took a heavy sigh with how convenient this meetup was.
"You're wearing your usual home clothes. Did you sleep there last night?" She stepped closer to the television rack and her fingertips traced the top rack, raising her index finger afterwards.
"Or maybe you're sleeping there for days already. Dust piled up on the rack and you always clean the house daily."
Of course, she knew me very well.
"I've been staying with her for three days."
"In her bed I supposed. Floor, couch and bed in particular. I am thinking of unholy things my dear brother."
They both heard it. Kim could probably be in trouble right now.
"I guess I am right. Round trip at all surfaces huh?"
I closed my eyes and tried my best not to say anything. Silence was my best answer.
"She's different from your exes. You looked entirely different. But different in a very very good way."
"We're still working things out for us without any rush Gene. Why are you here? You should have told me you're coming."
"And missed the exciting part? We will keep this between us. So your relationship is now known to four people, not just between you two."
