Makena sat on one of the chairs in the throne room, her hands were clenched together, so hard her nails dug into her palms, leaving bloody cresent moon marks on them. Okoye stood in the room giving her explanation about what had happened.

The Dora Milaje all gathered behind the throne that the Queen sat in. "They were blue. And they had super human strength. And they came from the water on the backs of whales. I struck down three of them with blows that should've killed them but they rose again." Okoye explained. Still nobody seemed to believe her. And Makena had yet to ever speak, she was dead silent.

"I wish to leave immediately to retrieve our Princess," Okoye spoke.

Everyone stayed silent and Okoye looked around, noticing everyone's looks of disbelief and not the surprised kind. Makena had her elbows on her knees, leaned forward, her mind clearly drifted off somewhere else.

"Okoye," Ramonda finally spoke. "You will be stripped of your right as General of Wakanda's armies and your status as Dora Milaje." Ramonda said. M'Baku and the elders glanced at Makena and there was no reaction on her face like they would've expected.

"Allow me to talk. My Queen," Okoye requested in Xhosa.

"You may."

"Please. I have given everything! Let me die serving my country and that throne! I ask you, mother." Okoye dropped to her knees, pleading with the Queen as her eyes watered. "Allow me to make this right!"

"Make it right? I do not know if my daughter is alive or dead." Ramonda's voice cracked at the idea of her daughter being dead. Makena's hands twitched hearing that but she still said nothing.

"Perhaps, we are being too hasty. She raised a spear against her own husband for Wakanda!" The border tribe elder protested in Okoye's defense.

"And where is her traitorous husband now?! But in a place she can visit if she wished! Mine, is with the ancestors!" Ramonda stood to her feet.
