Lila lurched upward, her eyes flying open.

"You have an annoying habit of passing out."

Lila's head snapped to the side and she was greeted by Megatron's bright red optics as he stared down at her. The ground beneath her twitched and Lila realized she was in his servo. He was sitting on his throne.

And he was alive.

"WHAT THE HELL!?"

Megatron flinched at her sudden outburst.

His sharp teeth grated against one another as she began to panic, pacing around his palm and pulled her hair out. The Staff of Primus lay discarded by one of his digits. She began to hyperventilate.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Ohmygodohmygod," Lila glanced back up at Megatron to make sure he was still there and still alive before resuming her panic. "Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh–"

"Shut up," Megatron snapped, using his other servo to pinch the bridge of his nose. "What is wrong with you?"

"I don't know!" Lila cried out. "I have no idea what the heck is going on, like, ever!"

She sat down and put her head in her hands, "First you were alive, and then you were dead, and now you're alive again. Then were was a dragon and then there was me, and now there's just you. And earlier there was Primus, who is dead, but somewhat not dead, and still dead at the same time!"

Lila flopped back. "Why is the world so complicated all of the sudden!?"

Megatron was quiet for a moment, trying to pull apart her rant and transfer it into actual information. Lila started crying and curled into a ball in his servo.

"So you've been having visions?" Megatron asked slowly.

"I SAID I DON'T KNOW!" Lila screamed at him. "I DON'T FREAKING HAVE A BRAIN, YOU IGNORANT LUGNUT!"

Instantly, she covered her mouth, eyes growing wide in horror. Megatron stared down at her, his face betraying nothing.

"I see," he looked away and stood up. "Well, if you do not have a brain, then we have accumulated a small problem."

Lila's face twisted into a fearful confusion. "W-what?"

"I assume you will need a replacement?"

There was a moment of silence before Megatron stopped next to a large monitor. He stared at it for a moment before looking down at her.

She heard a strange sound, and Lila didn't quite process it until a moment later.

He was laughing at her.

And somehow, that made her feel even more terrified.

Megatron quieted and set her down next a keyboard. He began to type calmly.

"Did Primus look like this?" Megatron asked, turning to face her again. He gestured to the screen with his pointed digits.

Lila's gaze lingered on him for a moment before she looked at the image he had pulled up.

"Yes," she whispered.

Megatron tilted his head in interest. "And he spoke to you just now?"

"Ummm," Lila wiped her face. "No. It was in that room with the ancient cybertronian text."

"And then you had another vision, just now?"

She nodded.

"What happened?"

Lila winced and Optimus's scream echoed through her head. She remembered the sound of grating metal as Predaqueen pulled her claws out of Megatron's chest. The sight of Ratchet's head being torn from his frame. Optimus's gasp as the jagged tail was shoved through his spark. The shuttering of frames and dimming of optics.
