December 16th | Prompt: If you just believe 

The gentle wind blew through Lucy's hair from where she stood on the balcony overlooking the beach. After tucking a strand of hair back behind her ear, she continued looking down at the beauty of the country she helped rule. She was so lucky to live in Cair Paravel as a Queen of a magical country.

Her mind went back to the first time she found Narnia. How it all started with a game of hide and seek, when she hid in the wardrobe that seemed to have no end until she discovered the beautiful land. The excitement, awe, and amazement she had felt in that moment had been stronger than any other moment in her life.

Who would've thought that it'd be possible? To find a magical land in a wardrobe?

They didn't believe me, she thought as she remembered when she told her siblings about her adventure. I probably sounded crazy... but still. I'm their sister, they should've believed me. Even if it sounded impossible.

But eventually, thanks to Ms. Macready, they had all found themselves in Narnia. So it had been proven that she had told the truth. That she had found a magical land.

They shouldn't have just assumed I was making it up, though. I wouldn't have lied about something like that, she thought. It was probably because I was little.

She sighed, a little upset now, but she shook the thoughts out of her head. She shouldn't blame them for believing something thought would've normally been impossible. And anyway, they were here now, and they knew it was real.

Nothing is impossible, she finished her train of thought before returning inside. If you just believe.
