I love you

Cor and Aravis were talking a stroll outside late one night. The stars were twinkling like diamonds in the sky. The moonlight shone brightly on them.
The two slowly walked over to the white bench and sat down. They were silent for a long time, the only noise being the small breeze blowing. "It's beautiful tonight, isn't it?" Aravis asked softly. Cor looked at her. She was beautiful. Her long, black, wavy hair blew in the breeze. Her smooth face was relaxed, and she was smiling a little as she gazed at the pond in front of them.
Cor nodded. "Yeah." He paused, hesitating to tell her what he had been wanting to tell her for a long time. Cor let out a sigh. "Aravis?"
"Yes?" she asked, turning her head to look at him.
"There's something I've been wanting to tell you... for a long while now." he said slowly.
"What is it, Shasta?" she asked.
"When we first met, when we decided to travel to Narnia together, I thought you were...very annoying. I thought you were rude, and stuck up. You bugged me more than anyone else in my life. But now, you've sort of changed. You're more kind, more caring, and even though we still quarrel a lot, we always make up. And I want you to know, that I feel differently about you now." He paused again.
Aravis stared at him, eyes happy, mouth open, and a little surprised.
"I love you, Aravis." he said finally. Aravis continued staring at him for a moment, before smiling at him.
"I love you, too, Shasta."

Again, I know it's not great but it sounded a lot better in my head 😂 I really wanted to write something about the two of them this time because I LOVE them so much in The Horse and His Boy. That's probably not how it would have happened but that's how I imagined it. If you guys have ANY ideas PLEASE let me know!! 💗
