Daemon took residence at Maidenpool with Nettles one of the new dragon riders, while Aemond terrorized the riverlands, striking at Stonyhead, the Mountains of the Moon, Sweetwillow and Sallydance, and many more regions before finding Aisha and Laenor. Each day Caraxes and Sheepstealer unsuccessfully searched for Vhagar from Maidenpool.

"She is the largest dragon. The largest fucking dragon how can we not find her!" Daemon demanded.

"We keep looking-" Nettles remarked.

"She burns and burns and yet we are unable to locate her! This is rediculous!" Daemon demanded.

"Laenor could be alive?" Corlys questioned.

"I dont know. I think thats what it means. Father we could see Laenor again. He could be alive and fine. We could see him again hug him again. Addam and Alyn could meet their father. My Laenor could meet him." Aisha declared.

"Aisha my dear... there is something I need to tell you about Addam and Alyn." Corlys remarked softly.

"Laenor will be thrilled! Im sure he didnt know about them. He would have claimed them. Aemond made them Velaryon. Legitimized them. I still cant believe it!"

"Aisha, Addam and Alyn are not Laenors boys."

Aisha didn't understand.

"But they said-" Aisha whispered

"They are mine."

Daeron had made his way to old town.  Yet again but he was a man on a mission. The army of Lord Ormund Hightower, accompanied by Daeron and his dragon Tessarion, slowly advanced on King's Landing, defeating Rhaenyra's loyalists wherever they went.

While Daeron was leading the siege of Longtable, Prince Maelor and his protector, Ser Rickard Thorne, seasmoke rode ahead with Addam and Alyn when they were discovered by a mob of Rhaenyra's supporters at Bitterbridge.

Alyn watched in horror as Men and women clamored over Maelor, each trying to claim him as their own. He screamed and cried out.

"Get down get down!" Alyn demanded. "Dracarys those fuckers!" Alyn demanded.

"What of Maelor?" Addam corrected as they landed. Alyn ran forward blade flying through the air. Addam advanced as well as they tried to get through to their little prince cousin. But the protector was killed and Maelor was torn to pieces.

"DRACARYS!" Addam demanded filled with rage. A vengeful Daeron burned the town of Bitterbridge when he found out.

Princess Jaehaera however safely arrived at Storm's End with Ser Willis Fell.

"Aisha!" Aemond declared "they killed Maelor. Criston too. Jae she made it to storms end..." aisha blinked back at him.

"Maelor..." aisha whispered. Corlys looked to Addam and Alyn as they approached. She looked back at her father before looking at Alyn and Addam.

"Aisha no." Corlys whispered. "not yet." She hesitated before nodding.

"I'm glad you both are alright, is Daeron-" Aisha began.

"Crazy fucker he is." Alyn declared.

"We tried to stop them. I"m so sorry, I know you cared about Maelor. We were too high up when the attack happened. I'm so sorry Auntie." Addam added and he hugged her.

Ulf the White and Hugh Hammer flew to Tumbleton, but Rhaenyra's forces there were greatly outnumbered by the approaching Hightower army. Daeron was pissed to say the least and his fury was increased with every breath. Hightower was coming back in full force.

Some refugees hiding with Rhaenyra's people -as they tried to be free of the dragons and kings and queens throwing lives around as though it was nothing- were secretly greens who infiltrated the ranks of the blacks' defenders. The blacks had tricked them once and it got Criston killed, they were going to have to be sneaky.

Ulf and Hugh, used to be strong supporters of Rhaenyra but now they were considered the Two Betrayers, as they changed their allegiance to the greens. They were good fighters but for ever life that switched back to the greens it seemed another was killed or ran to the blacks.

The Hightower army kept the advantage and Aegon thought there was hope. Aemond thought there was hope.

"We have two more dragons." Aemond relayed. "Ulf and Hugh, Jace had been demanding for more dragonriders but now Vermithor and silverwing are ours."

"Where are they now?" Aisha countered.

The dragons Vermithor, Silverwing and Tessarion let loose their flames upon Tumbleton, then the town savagely sacked.

Upon learning of Tumbleton, Rhaenyra ordered the gates of King's Landing closed and barred. The Two Betrayers made the black council question the loyalty of the other dragonseeds. Neetles. Daemon had grown fond of Neetles but Rhaenyra wasnt taking any chances and she was arrested, everything she ever wanted was crumbling once again. She couldnt even enjoy this time, she was queen it was hers and she was locking the door and hiding on the throne.

She ran her hands over the swords, her ancestors had made the throne. It was hers by right and by declaration yet getting everything she ever wanted, sitting on top of the world, she felt so alone.

But as Aisha and Aemond and Aegon thought they were winning Daeron was done with the fighting and commanded Hobart Hightower to stop. They had won. But he wasnt ready to lose. He kept pushing and pushing and Ulf had a dragon of his own, he saw a crown for himself.

Aisha was blissfully unaware of Tumbletowns latest news as she sat around a fire with her family. Aemond and Laenor, her father and possibly two more brothers.

She wanted to race across the narrow sea and see if she could find Laenor, if they symbols were true. But would he have not come back after he heard of everything? Maybe he thought her dead, maybe he was scared to come back and lose his head.

Aisha leaned into Aemond as Laenor babbled in her lap. She felt a peace, a calm wash over her that she never felt unless she was in the water.

But their supporters were falling, not to Rhaenyra but wanting the throne and the crown for themselves. While Aisha was able to take a good full breath for the first time since Aegon's coronation it seemed and they were going to lose. They were all going to die. Aisha was glad of her ignorance helping her enjoy this moment.
