Fall of Dragonstone and the fall of the capital. It could have been years for all they knew, it felt like an eternity. Aisha could only really tell the passing moons by Laenor's growth. He was getting bigger and taller and trying to walk more and more. If she didnt have him it would have seemed like an endless battle with no bright spots.
Yes they had friends, allies throughout the seven kingdoms but no one could truly trust anyone but their family, their true blood.
Many had spotted two fighting dragons while passing the Dragonmont. Fisherman just so happened to be the bravest of townspeople and they investigated. Moving closer the land was still had from the fire fights but they found a burned and broken remains of the Grey Ghost.
Since the dragon was so mutilated everyone thought that it must have been Cannibal, he was known for eating other dragons.
"Where is Sunfyre?" Aisha asked curiously. "I sent Aquarius out looking but she grumbled about it constantly." Aemond chuckled leaning into her. "You should have heard her, she was moody about it."
"Maybe her and Vhagar are on their moons bleedings together." Alyn offered. "Your dragon is always a moody bitch though."
"Watch yourself Velaryon." Aemond teased.
"Say it again, it sounded so damn good!" Alyn declared with a laugh. Aisha looked to her father but he shook his head. She held his gaze, they had a right to know. Again he shook his head silently begging her to be quiet. She sighed holding onto Laenor's hand as she stood up.
"He's getting the hang of it." Aemond remarked.
"Lenny needs help but he will be swimming before you know it." Aisha agreed.
"You notice how he only wants to walk to the water." Addam remarked as Little Laenor wobbled to the shores.
"Just like his mama." Corlys agreed.
"Any word from the capital?" Aisha asked peering back at them.
"No, that worries me." Aemond agreed.

Larys Strong had disguised Aegon during the fall of King's Landing and smuggled him to Dragonstone, Aegon didnt want to leave his throne. His castle. He was supposed to be a force, a show of strength and they fled. But he felt stronger and he was ready to stake his claim and make his family proud.
Just as the people liked Daemon when he was younger drinking with the hooligans and fucking the whores the people liked Aegon and his fun nature compared to the tyrant that they saw in Rhaenyra. She barked orders and tried to make the castle a fortress but there were too many hidden passageways for it to ever be secure.
Aegon wanted to make Aisha proud and show he could be the king that she saw in him. The good man, the man he thought he could be if she was by his side all along.
"They took our home, what if we take dragonstone?" Aisha mused.
"Aisha," Corlys warned.
"father, think about it, they took all their more experienced commanders and generals to the capital to kick us out. They left dragonstone practically defenseless." Aisha remarked.
"I knew I got my smarts from her." Alyn declared. Aisha chuckled glancing back at him.
"Aemond, what do you think?" Aisha countered.
"It would show strength." Aemond agreed.
"Do you know where Larys would take Aegon?" Aisha whispered. "I'm worried, its been moons and I havent heard..." her words drifted off.
"Aegon is probably back at the capital." Aemond remarked. "He liked that throne once you told him he could do it." Aisha nodded slightly. "He will want to get it back. For us."
Although most thought Cannibal had attacked Grey Ghost it was Sunfyre. After moons of healing he was ready to find his master and thats just what he did. Sunfyre made his way to the capital and Aegon had never been so happy.
Aegon climbed up and felt like a king again, he thought Sunfyre was dead, now he felt unstoppable, so they went out flying again, regaining strength, while Aegon's supporters found locals willing to betray Rhaenyra, it wasnt too hard most thought her a tyrant. But others were too scared of Daemons temper to betray the current ass on the throne.
Poorly-defended Dragonstone fell easily, with every commander Rhaenyra refused to move up, to praise for their sacrifice she didnt even notice them betraying her, she thought herself safe, untouchable from the throne.
But rage filled them as they took back dragonstone as Aisha and Aemond landed.
"They did the hard work for us." Alyn remarked.
"We have to make sure they are on our side." Addam corrected.
"If not... dragon fire!" Alyn declared happily. "Seriously though, when am I getting a dragon?" Aisha chuckled as Aemond wrapped an arm around her. She passed Lenny off preparing as she stepped forward water rising from her hands.
People always misjudged the elements. But just because a tree loses its leaves, vines die in the winters, wind whips through the air, water crashes around you... fire was the only element anyone ever feared because they associated it with Targaryens and their dragons. Aisha was going to change their mind out the power water truly had. Icicles formed in her hands before she clutched them like spears ready to protect her family. But Aisha looked up to see Moondancer taking off. Aemond moved back to Vhagar ready to fight. But Sunfyre came out of nowhere blazing fire. Aisha felt a wash of relief flood her as she smiled up at him.
Baela has escaped her attackers on her dragon, Moondancer. Sunfyre blinded Moondancer with fire, however, and eventually killed Moondancer as the dragons dueled. Riders clinging on as their dragons took to their true nature of violence before they crashed to the ground.
Baela and Rhaena were of Laena but they made their choices yet Aisha still wanted them to be a part of this family, they were the last piece of Laena. Aisha wanted to see if she couldnt talk some sense into Joffrey but after all he was so young and she barely knew him before everything went to hell. He wouldnt care about her now.
"Get them!" Aisha declared running to the fallen dragons. "AEGON!" Aisha demanded clearing out the smoke, putting out the fires drawing upon the water around them until she saw Aegon. "AEGON!" Aisha cried out.
The burned and battered Baela was taken captive, Aegon now held Dragonstone, although he broke his legs in the fighting.
"It's okay." Aisha whispered hugging Aegon to her. "I got you, you are safe now." She whimpered, tears dripping onto him washing away his blood smeared face.
