A childhood memory that I remember is light up the night I always went there with my parents when I was from 3 years old all the way until I was 21. It was interesting to see all the different lights and stuff and see Santa Claus come down the chimney and then the actual fireworks that would happen the fireworks I didn't really appreciate at the time because I have a PTSD something I didn't know I had when I was a little baby but loud noises kick me off. But other than that hearing the Christmas music and seeing the sights and sounds of the actual Christmas light up the night at Elmont was enough for me to be happy. I remember one time when I was 17 I walked all the way to light up the night and when I was done I was finished. I was going to go the next day back downtown Elmont to see a Everest Expedition exhibit at the local Art Gallery which was pretty good I spent all my money which was a hundred bucks on donations to that particular Everest donation because it was talking about literacy for children.
