Between passionate kisses, I struggled to find the words to speak.

"Yes, I do and you're welcome," I stated as I placed my hands on her hips before lifting her.

"You are mine to protect. Mine to touch. Mine to hold." I said, possessively as my hands roamed her back and ass.

"If you want this, all you have to do is ask," I whispered, softly nipping her bottom lip.

She gasped as I lifted her into my arms and she kissed him back with great passion. As my teeth grazed her bottom lip, a soft moan escaped her lips causing her to blush a bright beautiful pink.

"I think... we should take this slow," she whispered back to me, my heart nearly beating out of my chest. Turning, I pushed her up against the wall.

"So be it.." I breathed out before pushing myself away from her. "Have your dad meet us on the outskirts of his city, I'll get the money. You go mentally prepare for this and let Mason know I need him real quick." I said calmly, though I hid my face.

With a flushed face, she turned away from me and made her way out of the farmhouse, trying to catch her breath. She made her way back to the village and caught Mason and Alice huddled by her cottage.

"Hey, Azure needs you," she spoke to Mason, and with a nod and a kiss to Alice he leaped off. She then went to her room to put her stuff away and make the phone call. "I have your money dad, meet us at the outskirts of town on the west side and I'll give it to you," she spoke calmly to him.

"You better be there, bitch," with a slurred tone he hung up and she quickly changed into another hoodie that hid the darkening bruise on her face. Quickly she covered it in a few layers of foundation which did very little to hide it.

"We have to go meet the boys," she told Alice as they made their way back out to the front of her cottage. From there we made our way to the front of the village to meet up with the boys. As the girls walked up, Mason and I dulled our idle chat to speak to them.

"Mason's gonna guard camp as he can be surprisingly vicious, so as long as you two are ready to go, we can hopefully be home before anything bad happens here," I stated matter of factly, trying to contain the rage I had for the man I would soon be in front of.

She stepped forward and with her gray eyes glued to mine, she took my hand and held my large bicep snuggly. We began our journey and it wasn't long before we reached the outskirts of town, but her father was nowhere to be seen.

"He will be here," she murmured, knowing there was no way in hell this man would pass up this kind of money. As if the mentioning of him called him, he broke through the trees, looking surprisingly sober. Suddenly two other people stood at his flanks, looking extremely familiar.

"Hi daddy," she whispered, stepping around me and attempting to walk towards him as he opened his arms for a hug.

"Like hell," I seethe, grabbing her arm and pulling her back behind me and near Alice.

Alice, be on guard.

"Stay here, I'll handle this," I said in a half-growl. Walking forward, I quickly closed the distance between us and the three people, immediately recognizing the other two from our scuffle at the riverbank.

Addressing the woman I spoke confidently, "On behalf of the Delecroix family, I, Azure Verelice, of the Blue Moon pack hereby pay off any debt to your pack. Leave these people alone and we won't have to see each other again." I proclaimed before turning to Mr. Delecroix.

"And if you ever come near her again, I'll skin you alive and leave you to rot." I spat out at him with maliciousness and contempt overflowing in my voice. Before anyone could say anything I turned and started walking away, knowing full well Alice would let me know before anything could happen to me.

As I made my approach back to our side, Violet instantly flew under my arm, snuggling in tightly. Suddenly Alice mentioned Violet's father making advances, and I turned around in time to see the woman beside him restraining him with a single arm.

"You have your money. Now stay the fuck away from us and our territory," Alive spoke this time with seething resentment and I gave her a look that warned her to keep it civil.

"Isn't that the little whore who was at our camp last month?" The woman spoke with a smirk on her face, eyeing Violet now, making every hair on my body stand on edge in rage.

"She's been passed from many packs, I've seen the way she returns home, used and dirty," her father spoke this time and I felt Violet wince at his vile words.

"Seems she found someone who doesn't mind having a used rag," the woman said with a laugh as the man beside her coughed.

"Jazzy we got to go," he spoke in a gruff voice. "Until we see each other again," she said grabbing Violet's father's arm and they began to retreat slowly. "Soon my love," he spat just before they disappeared beyond the woods.

"Let's go home!" I growled, moving quickly back home. I softly pushed Violet closer to me as we walked. After a while, Alice came up beside us.

'They will come for us. We need to be ready. All... Of us'

I notice her giving Violet a side-eye.

'Relax, I will keep her safe until she is ready for that, for now, we all just need to be 100% vigilant and prepared. They show they truly want a fight, we'll give 'em a FUCKIN WAR!'

With a nod to each other, we assured our confidence and dedication to this fight even before it officially began.
