I rubbed my thumb against the back of Violet's palm, hoping to calm her nerves, before stepping forward now facing the pack.

"I'd like to apologize for calling you all here so suddenly, but as I am overjoyed at the news I. I mean We," I stated as I gently pulled Violet closer to my side. "Are about to tell you all, I couldn't bear to keep this from my family and soon hers as Violet has decided to go through with the change in now 2 days time and fully become your Luna!" I exclaimed, throwing a fist up in celebration as I turned and captured Violet's unprepared lips in a smoldering display of pure, carnal love. Pulling away, I caught her eyes.

"Is there anything you'd like to say to our pack, gorgeous? No pressure of course." My tone was soft and gentle, letting her now this was truly her decision to make.

She listened to my words in awe, as I never sounded more like an Alpha than when I talked to my people. As I kissed her she kissed me back in part shock and part love, knowing this was truly set in stone now. Her eyes locked on mine for a moment then drifted to Alice who nodded in encouragement. She took a small step forward and her eyes fell to the crowd in front of her.

"I just want to say... Thank you, to all of you who have excepted me into your pack. I know this isn't the traditional way things go but I promise to be the best damn Luna I can be for all of you," her eyes fell to the small children the played off in the distance and the sudden urge to run filled her senses. Taking a deep shakey breath she attempted to continue but her voice faltered so with a small smile she stepped back to me.

Wrapping an arm around her shoulders, I tucked her into my chest. "It's okay my baby, we can go home now," I whispered into her ear.

'Well be going home now.. Do not disturb'

Instantly half of the pack perked up straighter while the others were the ones who were watching their Alpha and Luna with vigorous attention. Turning on my feet as my arms fell, my hand catching hers, I lead her back to my house. Opening the door and ushering her in before closing the door.

She curled into my side and let me lead her back home.

"Azure, don't forget you need to speak with Greg, but it can wait until the morning, goodnight you guys," Alice spoke to us before we all went our separate ways. As we entered my home I let out a big sigh before making myself a drink.

"I think I would like to take a bath tonight, would you like to join me?" Violet asked and at my giddy nod she laughed before making her way to the bathroom and turning on the faucet letting the large tub fill with water. She added some bubbles which helped to give a beautiful lavender aroma to the bathroom which instantly helped us relax. She quickly stripped and climbed into the bathtub, scooting to the front so I could slide in behind her. As I tentatively stepped a foot into the bath, I allowed my mind to shift focus onto complete nothingness at the relaxing warmth of the running water.

"There's a lot to be done but I'm glad that at least now my downtime can be stolen away by you, my love." I said, my voice carrying a soft, loving tone just barely heard over the cascading water from the running faucet. Reclining back, the wall of the bathtub smooth and cool against my heated skin, a moment later I feel Violet leaning herself back against my form, laying herself presently on the center of my chest, where I quickly capture her lips with mine stealing a single moment of affection that caries more words than anyone would even know.

She turned towards me to kiss me better and let every emotion we had drip into the kiss. Bringing herself closer so she was straddling my lap, she began twirling her fingers into my thick locks and gave a soft tug so I was now looking up at her.

"I love you Azure," she whispered softly before leaning down and kissing me once more. "So tomorrow Alice and I will be spending most of our time together getting ready for the next day. What will you be doing?" She asked nonchalantly, simply curious as to how I would be spending my day.

"Not much, same old same. Perimeter checks, hunting, training, hopefully loving you. Only thing out of schedule is I have to see Greg, as I absentmindedly dipped on him tonight." I said as I ran a subconscious hand through my already ruffled hair.

"If you are ready, My Luna, I think we should both turn in for the night. Early bird gets the worm or in this case the wolf gets the prey." A small smirk playing upon my lips as I extended a hand out to her. As she took it, I quickly lead her back to the bedroom and into the comforts of the bed within. Lying there with her in my arms I couldn't help but feel like life could finally be worth trying at again. While my eyelids began to droop, the room around me gave way to darkness.

Opening my eyes, blinking a few times as they adjusted to the harsh morning light, I stepped out of bed giving Violet's head a gentle kiss as I did so.

'Greg, if you still need to talk, I'll be at your place in just a moment or two.'

I then made my way to the kitchen to brew a much needed pot of coffee. Once that had started I quickly and quietly got dressed as to not disturb the sleeping women in my bed, she looked so peaceful when she was asleep. Something about seeing the stress of the day leave her face was one in a million.

I lit a cigarette as I made my way back to the kitchen and got myself a cup of coffee. I sat on my rocking chair on my porch for a few moments while I finished them both. My mind contemplated today's activities and I was anxious for tomorrow night, but I knew everything would end up exactly the way it should.
