Waking in the morning, nothing could prepare me for the elation that overtook me from seeing Violet's small frame still nestled softly in my covers. Snuggling into her, I gently stroked stray hairs from her face, snuggling closer as if I couldn't be close enough to her form. Laying there my mind began to drift to what it would be like when she changed a picture of the two of us running together as wolves straight into the house where, shifting, we'd meet in a fiery embrace.

A groan of pure lust threatening to slip past my lips, awakening the sleeping beauty before me. Cautiously making my way from the bed after forcibly removing myself from Violet's side, I went straight to the kitchen where I begin preparing a gorgeous breakfast spread of omelets, bagels, toast, eggs, and for the dessert inclined, crepes. Then retrieving two mugs from the cupboard, I poured two cups of coffee to go with the breakfast.

Returning to the bedroom, I softly kissed Violet awake, "I made breakfast, and before you see it, I do realize I may have gone a tad overboard but it was your first night here in my house so..."

Violet awoke to the feeling of lips pressed against hers and her eyes instantly shot open, her anxiety calming when she realized it was Azure.

"You realize I'm like 100lbs soaking wet right?" She giggled before stretching her arms above her head and then wrapping them around my neck as she crawled to her knees in front of me.

"Thank you, baby," she whispered before planting a long deep kiss on my warm lips, igniting the fire within me. She then climbed out of bed quickly and followed me to the kitchen where she took note of the fact that I definitely overdid myself. She smiled over at me before taking her seat and making her plate, as I joined her she gave me another smile before digging in and moaning in delight.

"This is delicious baby, I'm so glad one of us can cook," she lied laughing slightly. She preferred to keep most things about her a secret until the perfect moment. "So do you have any other talents you've been hiding from me?" She asked as she took a drink of orange juice.

"Other than cooking, I'm quite proficient in archery, smithing, hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, and also sewing due to learning first-aid." I said nonchalantly as I quickly made myself a plate and dug in. "Tomorrow by the way, I want to find out what abilities you have hidden beneath the surface, Alice will be partnered with you then to assess what natural ability you possess so that we can decide what it would be best to pick up on after your initial shift or change. Of course after your change too, we will do another set of mock drills to see what's changed through your transformation, that I will proctor." I spoke loudly, my tone nice and easy.

"As for our trip today, as soon as you're ready we can go, Mason will be escorting us to the east border where then we will travel with a group from a brother-pack of ours, the SkyThorn Pack. I helped them to settle here on my family's old lands and as a service to me, they allow me to keep the actual Sky Thorns territory as our deal for partnership dictates." I said, as I nodded at two pointed mountain ranges towards the east.

She listened to my words and nodded along as I finished my breakfast. "let me just go get changed," she said after finishing up. She put her dishes in the sink then made her way to my room where she retrieved her jeans and hoodie from the previous night and quickly threw them on. She tossed her long dark hair into a high ponytail before making her way back out to where Mason and I were waiting.

"Three days huh? How exciting! Shall I inform the rest of the pack while you're gone?" I heard Alice's voice coming from the kitchen before I made my way into the living room locking eyes with Violet.

"Ready whenever y'all are," she spoke with a small smile playing on her lips. She kept waiting for the moment for something to terrify her and make her run for the hills, but everything simply drew her curiosity forward. She wanted to be a part of my life in every way and nothing about that scared her.

"I will see you tomorrow Alice, apparently we will have a lot of one on one time tomorrow before the next night..." She trailed off remembering the change that would happen in a few short days. "It will be great, I'll make sure you're ready," Alice assured her and something about the look in her eyes and the truth in her words calmed Violet down.

Shouldering my bag, I opened the door for the others to go through. Once outside I instantly laced my hand with Violet's, "We'll be back as soon as possible, though truly I'm not too inclined to worry since you're gonna be in charge." I said, a proud smirk playing on my lips as I looked at Alice.

"That actually means a lot from you, Alpha." She said respectfully.

"Alright y'all turn off the sibling energy and lets get going so you two can get your asses home quickly!" Mason laughs out as he gives Alice a soft kiss before turning on his heels, heading towards the east border as Violet and I trailed along after him. At the eastern border, three males and one woman were waiting patiently for us.

"Good to see you all, and Luna Rae, as always it's such a pleasure to see you." My voice charming and soft.

"Of course, Great Alpha Azure, you humble us by taking your Luna to

our precious Sky Thorns. Am I correct to assume the nature of your visit?" She replied, her voice taking on that tempered tone of a noblewoman.

"If it works that'd be amazing, but the sky wolves haven't talked to me since my Father..." I trailed off as my voice gave out.

As we approached the four individuals Violet bowed her head slightly in respect and blushed when the lady Azure referred to as Rae, referred to her as a Luna. She listened to my explaining of what our mission was here today and she gave my hand a hearty squeeze when I trailed off about my father. She kissed my shoulder in hopes to give me some sense of comfort in the situation.

"This is your family's land?" She asked me under her breath, trying to get a real grasp on the situation.

"Yeah, these packs around here are here either cause I've invited them here or they've won a piece of my family's old territory. My family's pack is one of the oldest in this area and many people judge me by the stories of that pack, and yet I only wish to be viewed for simply my own achievements. I want my life to just be mine, which is also why I had especially given up this part of territory. These mountains and lands surrounding, is where my Father had set our pack village." I rambled out, explaining my ex-packs daily life as we walked.

"Just up ahead, Azure!" I heard the frontman of the group announce. Quickening the pace, it grabbed Violet's hand as I took her to the front of the group. Looking at a cliff-side path that winded up and around the mountains, a half smile graced my features. Picking Violet up in a bridal style fashion, I tore off up the path following it all the way

up the mountains.

Finally on top, my eyes took in the surrounding around me, nothing was moved or changed of the old temple, aside from the weatherworn rocks.

"This is it! Welcome to the Temple of Spirits. A place meant for praying for guidance from spirits of our kin." I exclaimed, before throwing open my arms in grandiose welcoming.
