The sun is high in the sky, casting a warm glow through the window of the room where a group of people has gathered. Each has preparations to make before their flight in the evening, but for now, they decide to have some fun. Gather in one room, check gifts and cards from fans, and share stories from past tours.

Zhan's hands work mechanically as he nods at Fanxing's words, sorting through interesting items. Peixin lounges on the couch with a handheld video gaming device, completely absorbed. Laughter fills the room as memories are shared and bonds are strengthened.

Zhan picks up a note, opening it without noticing anything odd about it. But after reading it, his eyes widen, and his ears turn red. "What a night! Even after being scared by a bunny, I buried myself in its fur."

"What is it?" Fanxing asks, reaching for the note.

Zhan quickly slaps the note face down onto the coffee table. "Nothing."

Fanxing raises his eyebrows. "It doesn't look like nothing. Show me." He reaches for it again.

Zhan yanks the note a little further away, fully prepared to stuff the entire thing in his mouth if necessary to keep his cousin's prying eyes away. "It's just a letter," he says, tugging it another inch away when Fanxing continues to eye it. "It's for me."

"Huh?" Fanxing asks, stifling a laugh. "When did my childhood friend return, being all adorable and childish?"

Zhan glares, his eyes turning back to annoyance and irritation. This is the mask he wears most of the time for defense so no one knows what he truly feels, but the suddenness or unexpectedness makes him a little off-balance.

As he tries to intimidate with a glare and figure out how to sneak the note away, it is abruptly pulled from his hand. He whirls around to find Peixin looking down at the note curiously, with furrowed eyebrows and tightened lips.

"What?" Zhan's eyes widen, feeling like his entire soul is being exposed.

"All of this over a letter?" Peixin simpers.

"Don't," Zhan croaks, or at least tries to. He moves his limbs and makes a weak grab for the note, but Peixin steps back, out of his reach.

Fanxing chimes in. "What does it say?"

Peixin starts to unfold the note as Cheng emerges from the bathroom, drying his hair. Both of them remind Zhan how merciless the world can be. Without hesitation, he tackles Peixin to the floor and snatches the note from his hand, quickly hiding it in his shirt.

Cheng raises an eyebrow at their sudden movements and the tension in the room. "What's going on here?" he asks, his voice calm yet curious.

Zhan quickly gets off Peixin, his mind racing with fear as he tries to think of ways to cover up what just happened. It feels like trying to escape from a cat only to be caught by a tiger. He can't help but feel doomed.

Just as Peixin is about to speak, there is a knock on the door that captures all their attention, causing them to turn their heads toward the door and then back at each other, wondering who it could be.

"I'll go check who it is," Peixin says, nodding at his cousins and walking toward the door. Opening it, he sees a young omega with large dark eyes and long wavy hair waving a hand.
