Chapter 4|Kiss

Yvonne's pov

After we hung out at the Black Lake we ate and went to bed, but for some reason, I couldn't get Mattheo out of my head. I decided to go to the Astronomy Tower to clear my head. I was wearing a white cropped vest and black shorts with my hair tied up in a ponytail.

I walked toward the railing and just looked up at the vast sky. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" a voice from behind startled me.

"Mattheo what are you doing here?"

"You didn't answer my question."

"Y-Yes it is beautiful." he walked towards me and stood right next to me.

"Now it's your turn to answer my question, why are you here?"

"I come here to think, it's my thinking place."

I watched him staring at the stars with so much peace and love, I'd never seen him look at anyone or anything like that till now.

He turned and looked at me we kept eye contact for about 10 seconds without looking away.

Mattheo's pov

I look deep into her dark emerald eyes, and for some reason, I can't seem to pull away, to think of it I don't think I want to.

My eyes wander to her lips, there is something eternal about her lips as much as her eyes. Her lips looked beautiful the thought of her lips crashing into mine sent my mind into a sensual state of intoxication.

At this point we are standing right in front of her I look down at her because she's shorter than that (she's probably around 5'3).

Yvonne's pov

I stare at Mattheo's hazel eyes, something about them just pulls me close to him. He began to slowly moves closer to my face looking down at my lips, I knew what he wanted and I wanted it too.

Then...his lips crashed into mine.

Mattheo's pov

Her lips were soft, almost silken, and pillowy against my own. I could feel the soft tickle of her breath beneath my nose, as we breathed each other in.

We began to pull away and then it hit me, I shouldn't be doing this I want to be sent here to get into a relationship or whatever I was sent here to do what my father had sent me to do.

"Um I've got to go"

And I just left.

Yvonne's pov

He just left...

I had to ignore what happened just now. I tried to distract myself by looking at the stars.

Pansy and I were a couple of meters in front of the boys. And I told her what happened at the lake but missed out the kissing part. I turn around to see all of them arguing over something.

"So what going to happen next?"

"Pansy what do you mean what's going to happen next, nothing is going to happen"

"Come on I know you guys have a thing going on"

I stopped walking and she did too, "He's the dark Lord son, nothing will ever happen"

Theodore came in between us but his arms on our shoulders, "So what are you girls talking about"

"Theodore piss off "

"Jeez, Pansy I was only asking a question."

"It's nothing, Theo."

"If you say so Wyllt."

We sat in the great eating and while we were eating I heard gasps coming from all over the place. I turn to see an eagle coming towards me. I knew who this came from it came from my parents.

Phoenix dropped down in front of me." Hey Phoenix what have you got for me." I see on his left foot an envelope tied to his foot, which was sealed with the symbol of my family's coat of arms.

"You have an Eagle." I look up to see Mattheo looking amazed.

"Yes, in the old day higher ranked wizards used eagles instead of owls. Phoenix has been in my family before the medieval times."

"How the fuck does that chicken stay alive."

"Draco it isn't a chicken, and relatives that lived then put a spell on it and made it immortal."

"That's sick."

Mattheo went to pet Phoenix and Phoenix allowed it but when Draco wanted to pet it, it but him.

"Curse that bird of your Wyllt."

Everyone around us began to laugh.
