YVONNE'S POV
It has been a few days since we found the book and we decided to let the matter go for now.
Regulus was right if I just stay cautious You-Know-Who cannot open the vault since I am the only one who can open it.
And I've also noticed that ever since Mattheo got the Dark Mark he has been acting more toxic than usual and we barely spoke and every time we did we just got into an argument.
I wonder what is going on in his head. But unfortunately, I couldn't read his mind, I didn't know how to do that.
"V?", Regulus elbowed me.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"You have been really quiet and you haven't eaten your breakfast."
"I am eating ,just slowly."
He squinted his eyes at me and said, "What are you thinking about?"
I hesitated and said, "Theo, he's been odd lately."
Regulus rolled his eyes and said, "V, he's okay there's no need to worry about him."
"Are you sur—"
"YES!", he snapped at me.
I gave him a confused look and he said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to shout."
"It's fine."
——————————————————————- It was now midday and I was in my free period, which also meant I had to go to Mattheo for my Transfiguration lesson with him.
As I was walking towards his dorm the door opened and I saw a girl come out, he hair was messy and her clothes looked like she put them in a rush.
Did he have sex with her?
I walked into his room and closed the door behind me.
He turned around and looked at me, "What do you want?"
His eyes were red and puffy, his room recked of weed and it was dark but not to dark,"D-Did you have sex with her?"
"And how is that any of your business?"
"I though—"
"Thought what Wyllt? On because we've been civil for the past couple of weeks,you think you are special?"
"Theo—"
"It's Riddle to you, and get out of my sight."
I couldn't believe it, I had tears and didn't know what to do anymore.
"Are you deaf? GET OUT!"
I just left, what the fuck was wrong with him. I went to Draco's dorm to ask him, but when I walked into his dorm I saw Pansy straddling him-thank goodness they had clothes on.
"Yvonne, what are doing here?", Pansy said as she got off Draco. "Oh my gosh are you crying?!", she immediately ran to me a hugged me.
"What's wrong love?"
"It's Theo, I-I don't know what I did wrong, he's changed lately and I-I don't know what to do about it.", I said sobbing.
Draco got if his bed and walked towards me, "Don't worry Wyllt I'll go see what's up."
MATTHEO'S POV
After Yvonne left I locked my door and went to sit on my bed. I was stressed and angry and I was taking it out on her.
I took out my diary from my drawer and began writing.
Dear Diary, I don't even know what fukcing date it is but that's not important.
After I received my father's bloody mark I've been distant from everyone, I've been distant from her. My father has been even harsher on me because I haven't brought Yvonne to him, and the pain has been getting worse. I cannot allow him to get a hold of her but no matter how much pain I must endure I will not fulfil my father's wishes.
I have to let go of her because the closer we both get the more danger she will be in and I simply cannot allow that. She is too precious to live in my world.
Every time I don't bring her,my father beats me and punishes me worse everyday day.
I stopped writing when I heard a knock on the door. I groaned and walked up to see who it was. I opened it to see Malfoy.
"What do you want Draco?", he didn't even answer my question and made his way to the middle of my room and looked around.
"Fucking hell Riddle let some light in this room."
We opened my curtains and saw the mess in my room. He picked up an old joint and said, "Is this all you do now get high and have sex with random girls."
I rolled my eyes and took the joint out of his hand. "It looks like you've been writing recently", he said as he was about to pick up my diary.
"Don't touch that."
He didn't say anything but just stared at me until I broke the silence.
"What do you want cousin?"
"Mattheo I know you are not going to talk but whatever is going on with you don't take your anger out on Yvonne, she cares about you, you know."
