Chapter 48| Diary

YVONNE'S POV

My family and I were gathered around the fireplace waiting for the clock to strike 12.
As we all sat around the Christmas tree drinking hot chocolate.

"Yvonne you are going to love my present.", Arabella said.

"Same here, I cannot wait for you to see mine."

As Kyson, Arabella and I were talking amongst ourselves my father stood up and asked everyone for their attention.

"What is it Daddy?", Arabella said and she put her chocolate milk down.

"I-I just wanted to say something, even though your mother isn't here with us this Christmas, she will always be in our hearts and memories. Let's cherish the time we have together as a family and remember the love and joy she brought to our lives. She may be gone, but her spirit will always be with us during this special time of year. Let's make this Christmas one to remember in honour of her. Merry Christmas, my dear ones."

I looked at the time and it struck 12, Bella immediately rushed to the presents screaming, "I first! Im first."

While she was doing that Kyson came up to me and said, "What's wrong?"

I looked at him and said, " Kyson I'm alright."

"You're not though. Is it what father said?"

I leaned my head on his shoulder and said, "I wish Father didn't speak about mother like she is dead. I can still feel like she is alive, I-I don't know how to explain it."

Before Kyson could say anything Arabella ran in between us and handed us presents.

"Open! Open! Open!"

"Kyson is it just me or she seems a bit too excited for Christmas.", I said laughing.

"Thought it was just me that noticed,", Kyson said while laughing as well.

I opened my present and saw a book. And on the cover of the book said my mother's name on it, Celeste Wyllt.

"Yvonne?", Arabella called.

"Y-Yes?"

"Before you open it, I want to suggest that you open it when you are alone."

"Oh ok."

After we all opened our presents and laughed it was not the end of the day which meant my friends were coming over tomorrow.

I rushed to my room and shut the doors while I sat on my bed and just stared at the book my sister gave me.

She said I should open it when I am alone, I wonder why. I opened it and I realised what the book was, it was my mother's diary. This was her diary when she was my age.

How did Bella find this I wondered. I smiled as I read how my parents fell in love, it immediately made me think about Mattheo and me, I wonder if we are ever going to be like.

My mother's diary, contained pictures as well as writing, even though the pictures were old I could still see them. I heard a knock and hid the book under my pillow.
"Come in.", I said.

Kyson came in and sat down on my bed. "Your friends are coming tomorrow."

"I know.", I said feeling a bit confused.

"Which one of your friends is coming?"

"Kyson you already know them.", I said rolling my eyes.

"Not all of them."

"Fine.Draco, Pansy, Regulus, Theodore, Blaise, Astra and Mattheo."

"Riddle?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

He sighed and said, "I won't jump to conclusions like Father did but just for you I will only give him one chance. If I see him act out in any way I will send him out."

I big smile grew on my face i and hugged my brother tight. "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Father and I won't be there when they arrive but we will see them in the evening."

"Of course."

It was now the next morning, while Kyson and my father went to work Arabella and I waited in the living room for my friends to arrive.

"I can't wait to see your friends Yvonne."

"They can't wait to see you either. I have a question."

"Sure"

"Where did you find Mother's diary."

"It was when you left for Hogwarts this year I found it in the attic."

"Did you read it?"

"No, I felt like it wasn't right for me to read that is why I gave it to you."

I was about to say something but I heard the bell ring and a commotion outside. A house elf came and said, "Miss Wyllt your guest have arrived."

"Please send them in."

Within minutes all my friends arrived in the living room as soon as I saw Pansy and Astra I quickly ran to them and hugged them tight.

"Agh! I know it has been a few days but I have missed you all.", Astra said.

"Same here!", Pansy and I screamed.

While everyone was introducing themselves to each other I made eye contact with Mattheo and walked towards him.

We stared at each other for a few seconds then hugged each other tightly. "Fuck.", I heard him whisper. "Hello, Theo."

He let go of me and said, "Is it just me or have you gone shorter in the last couple of days."

I lightly slapped him and said, " I have not."

He pulled me by the waist and said, "I wish I could fuck you right here right now."

I immediately turned red and heard a cough coming from someone next to me. I turned to see that it was Regulus.

"Regulus hi!", I said I made my way out of Mattheo's grip and hugged Regulus.

"It has only been a few days and you guys already want to fuck."

"Regulus...",I said in a disappointed tone.

"Yvonne?", I turn around to see Bella calling me.

"Yes?"

"Is he the one who gave you the bracelet?", she said as she pointed to Mattheo.

"Yes, he is the one."

"Is he your boyfriend?", she asked.

"I-I um. Bella this is Mattheo, Mattheo this is my little sister Bella."

Mattheo grouched down so that he was on the same level as her. She brought her hand out and he shook it. "Nice to meet to Bella."

Arabella looked at his hair and touched it, "Wow your hair is super curly."

Mattheo smirked and said, "Thank you."
