YVONNE'S POV
Once I apparated back home I immediately felt the burn on my arm. I looked at my arm and saw that it was red, "Shit."
I looked up to arm to see everyone surrounding someone. "Yvonne.", my father said. I made my way forward and my mouth opened slightly as I laid eyes on my mother.
"M-Mum...", immediately went in a hugged her tightly. "I-I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you too darling.", we pulled apart and she held unto my hands, "I wanted to say something to you my love, the day that I was taken that was not your fault."
"But I-I—"
"You were too young to overpower all 7 death eaters. I also wanted to say that you shouldn't blame Mattheo for not telling you about me, he was protecting you."
Words couldn't come out mouth and I just began crying. "Yvonne I'm sorry I didn't listen to you.", Kyson said.
I walked up to him and hugged him, "It's okay I'm just happy that she's back."
A few hours after we all reunited with my mother I sat on my bed treating the burn on my arm. I was interrupted when someone knocked on my door.
I was too lazy to go up and open the door so I said, "Come in." Mattheo came in and sat on my bed.
"Hey, Princess."
"H-Hey.", I said giving him a small smile.
"I am sorry—"
"Theo don't. You don't have to say sorry, I understand why you did what you had to did. I'm sorry that I reacted in that way, I should have listened to your side but instead, I shut you out. And you didn't deserve that. I—", I was interrupted when Mattheo brought his lips towards mine and kissed me. "Mmm."
After kissing me for a few seconds he brought his forehead to mine and said, "When I heard that you were going after my father I got scared because I was scared that he was going to hurt you. W-Worse I thought he would kill you.", he pulled apart and continued to say.
"Fuck. I was ready to leave everything and confront my father myself for you. Princess... I-I don't know how to say this but for some time now you make me feel some type of a way, a way that I've never felt before. And I only just started to realise what this feeling meant. Regulus asked me a question a few days ago."
"What did he ask you?", I said as he held my hands.
"H-He asked me if I l-loved you. I didn't give him an answer because I first had to accept the fact that..... fuck I love you Yvonne and I—"
"I love you too Theo."
As a smile crept across Mattheo's face he gently grabbed my neck and kissed me then hugged me tightly. "Sorry I read through your diary, I know how you value it."
"No worries Princess."
"Theo...I am scared about what is going to happen now. Your father can't get the Blackstone anymore. What is he going to do now?"
"He will probably go back to his original plan, to kill Potter."
"I know no one will agree but when the time comes I have this feeling that we are going to have to help Potter and his friends.
"Princess let's not worry about that till we go back to school shall we?"
"Sure."
Until it was time to eat Mattheo and I just cuddled and spoke about anything and everything. Our talking was interrupted when we were told that we had to go downstairs to eat.
It felt nice being sat around the table with my family and friends, it felt nice to finally have my mother back. I couldn't help but start tearing up, Mattheo immediately noticed and held my hand under the table.
He whispered to me and said, "What's wrong?", he said softly.
I looked at him and said, "I'm just so happy that she's back."
"I'm happy for you too Princess."
Everyone's conversations were interrupted when Kyson used a knife to click his glass cup to get everyone's attention. He stood up and said, "I'd like to say a few words, I wanted to start by saying thank you to Yvonne and all your friends, if it weren't for you Mother wouldn't be here right now.", he turned to my mother and said, " Mother you have no idea how much father, me, Yvonne and Arabella have missed you. After you left it wasn't the same at all, but now that you are back I hope that everything slowly goes back to normal. Tonight I want us all to enjoy ourselves because there is a Masquerade ball in 48 hours and after that this lot,", he said pointing at my friends and me, "Will need to go back to school. So tonight we enjoy!"
Everyone cheered and clapped for Kyson. He was right about one thing when school starts again there won't be any time for fun.
