Valentinas pov
It's been a week of torture at school with Heaven bothering me, but thankfully Gina has been by my side defending me through the whole thing.
Even though I just met Gina, I feel super connected to her. She's so nice and funny, and turns out she likes girls! I've never really thought about my sexuality before, but after having flings with multiple women and men before, I like both. Typically, it's odd for me to even think about these things but I finally came to terms with it.
School has been great, the teachers are nice, and some students are okay.
Right now I'm currently sitting in my 5th-period class, which I kinda hate because it's one of the most boring classes I have. It's government and doesn't get me wrong, I should know this, but the class is just boring and everything is too easy for me. Maybe because I'm a nerd... ah, who cares? I believe that no one in this world is stupid, everyone is smart in their way whether it's academically or not.
The bell finally rings after a whole forty-five minutes of boredom. I quickly packed my things and walked out of the class to go to my locker to meet up with Gina.
As I walked to my locker, I felt a presence staring at me. It's not any ordinary stare, it's a stare that's been watching me since I've been walking.
I stopped in front of my locker and turned around to see if I could see the person... and to my surprise there she was. Heaven. I have no problem with her, but she has a problem with me! What is wrong with her? I've done nothing.
I stare intensely at her and roll my eyes as she walks up to me with her little friends or should I say, minions.
"What do you want?" I say in an annoyed tone, she smirks looking at me up and down.
I was wearing a black leather crop top shirt, with a light pink tennis skirt that was pretty short on me.
Heaven just stands there looking at me not saying anything as I wait for a response from her, but she doesn't say anything.
"Valentina!" Gina shouts, fast walking towards me and going to my side.
"Bitch, leave her alone. Why is it that you're always bothering her?" Gina questions. Heaven removes her stare from me and keeps her trance on Gina.
"I'm not even doing anything but just standing here. Seems to me that you're the one bothering her." Heaven shrugs.
Before Gina can even reply, a tall black-haired boy walks towards Heaven, kissing her on the cheek and giving Gina and me a confused look.
He stares at me up and down as well and widens his eyes when he realizes I caught him staring.
"We're leaving. Heaven, please leave Valentina alone. She has done nothing to you, so fuck off." Gina rolls his eyes and grabs my hand pulling me away from Heaven.
"Are you good? Did she say anything to you?" Gina asks concerned and I shake my head walking inside the cafeteria.
She nods and we take a seat in our usual booth.
She sits in front of me opening her lunch box and giving me half of her sandwich.
"Why do you always give me half of your sandwich?" I asked curiously, holding the sandwich in the palm of my hand.
"Well for one, I know you're starving because you refuse to eat the school food, secondly because you're my friend, therefore I like to share, and lastly because my mom has taught me to do that." She says smiling at me.
That's so sweet of her.
"I appreciate it, thank you," I say cheekily, as I finish the sandwich and drink water.
