Valentina's pov
It's been a whole week since I had sex with Heaven. I've been craving by her more recently, but guess what she's doing? Avoiding me. I've been trying to talk to her during cheer practice, yet she goes another direction.
I didn't tell anyone about that night. I figured that if I tell one person, it'll spread around and though I do trust people, I just can't bare to put Heaven in a situation like that. I don't even know if she likes girls.
She should right? Or was she just using me?
Currently, it's after school and the girls and I are following up in some drills for the game tomorrow. Coach Sanders has been absent lately, I have no clue what's going on. Some of the girls say that she's finally dating someone, which is causing her to miss a lot of practice. Even so, she has to make time for us!
Speaking of dating, for the past few days, Jay has been texting me non-stop. Gina tells me that he has a crush on me, but I don't believe her. I feel like he's just being nice.
"Girls, take a 5 minute break," Heaven speaks. The girls quickly scatter across the gym and grab their water bottles taking sips of it.
Gina waves me over and I walk over to her wanting to know what she needs.
"Yes?" I call out as if I can assist her with something.
"Why is Heaven not talking to you? Usually, you guys go over drills together, but today she didn't utter a word to you." Gina questions, looking over my shoulder to see Heaven on her phone.
"I don't know, maybe she's having a bad day or something." I shrug to make it seem like I really don't know.
Well, to be honest, I don't know. Why is she not talking to me? Is she regretting what she did?
I don't regret it though. I loved every bit of it.
"Typical," Gina shakes her head, before talking again.
"Hey, don't you have work at 6:30? Today is a big photo shoot for the brand." Gina reminds me, making me stumble over the chair I was sitting on almost making me fall off. Gina stifles a laugh.
"Fuck! It's already 6. Um, I'll just ask Heaven if I can go." I say, and give Gina a quick hug.
I turn on my heel and walk towards Heaven who's focused on her phone.
"Hey," I say nervously, causing Heaven to look up from her phone and stare me down.
She doesn't reply, instead, she stands up and tries to walk away, but I speak before she can do so.
"I need to go. I forgot I have a photo shoot today. Is it okay if I go?" I ask hoping she'll say yes. Heaven turns back around and looks at me.
"Yes." She says simply. She doesn't even try to argue, which is usually what she always does.
"Thank you!" I exclaim thankfully, and at that moment, I see Heaven trying not to smile, which she doesn't.
"Hey, girls!?" I call out and immediately the girls stand up and pay attention to me.
"I have to go, some duties I have to take care of, but please do your best. I know the game is tomorrow and it seems like we're slacking off due to Coach Sander's absence, but we got this! Just keep working hard okay? I have faith in all of you." I say with a smile, and turn around to walk out the gym doors.
Today is going to be good. I can feel it.

"Ah Valentina, you're here! Great. I'd like for you to change please." Ms. Moore, Heaven's mother, smiles with her pearly teeth and hands me a piece of clothing to change into.
