Chapter 10

"KOE?!" I yelled

"Ahhhhh Koe" I jumped into his arms

"Hello to you too Lily" he laughed Hugging me tightly with my legs around his waist

"What are you doing here?" I asked in shock

" I wanted to surprise you. All the guys are at the hotel asleep. I'm wide awake I remember you said you worked at sunburnt and I figured you would be here today." He said

"Oh goodness. I've never been so happy to see you." I said

"You can have the rest of the day off if you need" I turned to see Rosaline behind me.

"Are you serious?" I asked her
"Girl yes! Go go!" She said

"Let me grab my purse" I told koe

I ran to the back and grabbed my purse.

"So you want to drive? I have no clue where I'm going" Koe offered

"Yeah! We will take my car" I said "it's around back"
I added

We got into my car and hit the road.

"Where we headed first?" He asked
"Well I haven't had lunch I'm starving. You hungry?" I asked

"FudPuckers?" Koe asked as he read the sign

"Yeah they have really good food. Is that okay with you?" I asked him

"Yeah sure!" He said

We walked in and got a table. He got some fudpucker nachos grande and I got finger lickin chicken tacos.

We laughed and talked and caught up on each others lives.

"Have you been working out?" I asked him

"We'll kind of but not really why? Do I look like it?" He asked while flexing his arms Making me laugh

"No well yeah but you have gotten thicker all over" I said to him

"It's the weed." He bluntly said shocking me

"Oh" I said shocked. Forgetting he did drugs... I didn't really like when he did drugs

" I'm sorry Lily. But they make me feel better and it's how I get away." He said

I just nodded my head and stared out the window at the ocean and sand.

"Come on lil kat. I'm sorry. Please don't be mad at me. We were having a good time." He said

"I'm not mad koe. I'm just disappointed that your still doing all of that." I said

The conversation was cut off by our waiter bringing our food to us. I didn't look up from my plate except to look at the water.

Neither Koe nor I said anything until we were done eating.

Koe pulled out his wallet to pay for our food.
"No I got it." I offered

"Lily let me buy your damn lunch" he said sternly

We got up from our table and made our way to the door to check out when I looked over and saw Zach and Cody at a booth with their Sargent.

I looked away hoping they wouldn't see me.

Koe and I got into my car and I decided to take him to a place I found it's not far from my house.
