This week I'm back on tour with Koe. We are on our way to Utah
"Hey Lily you okay?" Dre asked as I sat on the couch
"Yeah why?" I asked knowing I was trying my best not to throw up
"Just asking. You didn't want any coffee and just ate toast" he said
"Im fine. Just a bit jet legged is all" I said to him
I got up and went back to Koe's room and laid down falling asleep.
I woke up to Koe asleep beside me with this arm over my waist. I really needed to pee so I slowly moved his arm and got up.
"Hey lils" dexter said
"Hey dexter" I replied as I walk out of the bathroom into the kitchen
"We are stopped at Walmart if y'all need anything" he said
"Actually I do need some things. And food ugh I'm craving some Taco Bell" I said
"Me too I'll drive!" Dexter replied
"Let me run change real quick" I said walking into our room seeing Koe still asleep.
I quickly put on some Nike shorts and one of Koe's shirts that was big on me and flip flops
"Where to first?" He asked as he started the car
"Taco Bell. I'm starving" I said
"Yes ma'am" he said driving off
"So I heard y'all are expecting. That's exciting" I said
"Yeah I've always wanted kids and now Shelly is pregnant I'm really worried about being gone too much you know with tour and all" he says
"Yeah I bet. But you'll find a way to work things out. When is her due date?" I asked
"October 2 but you know that can change" he said
"Yeah..." I trailed off thinking if I should tell him or not yet
"Hey Dex..."
"Yeah?" He asked
"Can I tell you something? But you have to promise not to say anything until I tell Koe." I asked
"I promise my lips are sealed" he said pulling into Taco Bell drive through
"I'm pregnant...with twins" I said
"NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" He hugged me from across the arm rest of the car
"Yeah" I said with a nervous giggle
He ordered and I got some for Koe too.
"Oh hey can we go to target instead of Walmart?" I asked him
"Yes maam" he replied
"So when did you find out?" He asked
"Last week. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow" I told him
"Thats AWSOME! I'm so happy for y'all. Our kids can be best friends" he said
"Hahahah yeah. I'm just scared of Koe's reaction" I told him
"He will probably freak out but he will be happy. I promise you that. He loves kids" Dexter
Reminded me
We went into target, I got a small pack of diapers, wipes, passy, and 2 onesies. I got some snacks and food and drinks. And some stretch mark cream so I don't get any.
We loaded the car and headed back to the bus.
I grabbed some bags and Koe met me at the door
"You didn't wake me?" He asked
"No you were sleeping good but I got
You some Taco Bell" I said handing him some target bags
Dexter brought in the baby stuff in bags and put it in his bunk and pulled the curtain to.
