Lumine POV:

It was around 8 PM by the time the plane touched the ground. Lumine's limbs were so stiff, she felt like she hadn't moved for 10 years instead of 13 hours. And her eyes hurt from staring at her phone screen for too long, but oh well. At least she had managed to advance another level on Genius Invocation TCG.
"Okay, now anyways, we should get to the Academy to drop our stuff off," Aether said, pulling out the map that Paimon had handed him.
Lumine yawned and stretched her arms. "Yeah. Lead the way."
They followed the path that Paimon had marked on the map. It took about 15 minutes to walk from Inazuma City to Michita Academy. For whatever reason, the school was in the middle of the woods. They spotted some other people on the same path, and one of them seemed to have horns?
"Oh hey, I saw you two on the plane earlier!" a voice sounded behind them. "But I don't recognize you two. Are you new?" Lumine turned to see a brown-haired girl behind them, along with a pale-blue haired girl and blondish-gray haired boy.
"Uhm, yeah," Aether replied.
"Well then, let me introduce us! I'm Amber, this is Albedo, and this is Eula!" Amber said cheerfully. "If you need any help on where things are and such, you can ask me!"
"Oh, okay, thanks," Lumine said, smiling back at the girl.
"But we should probably hurry, it's almost completely dark and I still haven't treated Eula to that dinner I said that I would," Amber said, pulling ahead of the group.
"I swear Amber, vengeance-!" Eula began.
"Will be yours; yeah, yeah, whatever," Amber said. Eula huffed. Lumine looked over at Albedo, who had materialized a  sketchpad and pencil out of thin air. He was sketching something and murmuring to himself at the same time. He was also wearing a scarf, despite the warm weather.
"Anyways, race you there!" Amber said, taking off.
"Hey! I'm still carrying your suitcase!" Eula yelled, running after her.
"What?" Albedo looked up from his sketchpad, and saw his friends running down the path. He sighed then went back to sketching. The three of them continued walking in silence, while Albedo somehow managed to keep drawing and lug a suitcase behind him at the same time.

It took another 7ish minutes to actually arrive at the Academy. And if Lumine and Aether hadn't known better, they would have thought it was a prestigious university.
"Uhm, is this really Michita Academy?" Lumine asked.
"Mhm," Albedo replied, although she wasn't sure whether or not he was replying to her.
Lumine and Aether wandered onto the campus. It was mostly empty; most of the students were probably either in Inazuma City or their dorms.
"Oh, hey there! You must be new students! I'm Venti, your Music teacher if you choose to take on learning an instrument!" a man(who looked like a child)said, walking over to them. He was wearing a causal green shirt and loose jeans. What looked like a hat from Fontaine sat on his head.
"How'd you-?" Aether began.
"Oh, uhm, I didn't remember seeing your faces last year!" Venti said, laughing. He kind of smelled like alcohol, making Lumine question the school's choice of hiring him as a teacher. Also, he looked 16, not 21 or older. "So, need help finding your dorm rooms? Well, lucky for you, I was put out here just for that! Wait, what are your names?"
"I'm Lumine Ying. This is my brother Aether."
"Alright! Y, y, y...this way!" the teacher took off into a run. Lumine and Aether hurried to catch up with him.  They ran for what felt like a mile before finally stopping in front of a building that had a big "3" over it.
"Okay, your dorms should be on the same floor! Have fun looking for it!" Venti said, running away again. Is he really a teacher? Seems more like a little kid to me. Lumine looked up at the building. It had about 10 stories. Does Michita Academy really have that many students?
The two wandered around the floors, looking for their names. They found it on Floor 9, and they were right next to each other. The majority of dorms here don't have a name assigned to them. Why'd they build so many if most of them aren't going to be used?
"Oh, hey, you two are 11th graders as well?" a familiar voice said from behind them.
"Albedo! When did you get here?" Aether said.
"A few seconds ago. I just dropped my stuff off. I'm on Floor 10."
There was an awkward pause. Albedo cleared his throat.
"Ehm, Amber and Eula are gonna go to Uyuu Restaurant in a bit, if you wanna go join them."
"I think it's a bit late for wandering around in a new city, I'm gonna unpack and then select the electives I wanna take this year," Aether said.
"Me too," Lumine replied.
Albedo shrugged. "Alright. See you guys later," the boy then proceeded to run down the stairs at lightning speed.
"What's he in a hurry for?" Lumine questioned.
Aether shrugged. "Kinda looks like he's trying to avoid someone for some reason."
"Oh well. What electives are you planning on taking?"
"No idea. See you tomorrow."
"Mhm."
Lumine opened her dorm room and stepped inside. It was around the same size as her room back at home, and it already had a bed, a desk, a chair, and a closet. There was a bathroom too. She turned on the lights, then started unpacking her suitcase. The majority of her suitcase was filled with clothes and school supplies, but there were also pictures of her, Aether, and Paimon. Plus a picture of Hinshi and Leo that she never threw away, even when the pain of seeing them in a photo, smiling and happy, stabbed deeper than a knife.
"I miss you," she murmured. And I swear that one day, I will avenge you. I'll wipe every last Fatui-every harbinger, every agent, every diplomat-off the face of this world! Her heart glowered in rage even more as she thought of the Fatui Harbingers. The 11 strongest of the Fatui. One of them had commanded the attack on Mondstadt. One of them had commanded the charge that killed her parents.

There's 1 more week until school actually starts, she thought, laying in her bed, unable to fall asleep. I wonder if Paimon was right, that this school really does accept everyone. Though I still don't really understand why everyone hated us back at our old school. She turned to her right side, looking out her window at the woods below. Guess I'll see soon.
