Intermission, aka Blu attends another God conference

"A magically-infused wave struck an innocent ship and most likely would've killed some of the people on the ship if Blu and Cerulean weren't there." Jupiter reported, starting the meeting and catching everyone up on what it was about. "Serena, do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Serena smiled. She definitely had made that wave on purpose. Instead of defending herself, she just said, "I created the wave."

Jupiter looked slightly confused that Serena wasn't trying to prove she was innocent. "Was there any reason you created the wave?"

"I want to be mortal." All of the gods who didn't know about this, which was a majority of them, gasped. Jupiter even seemed shocked, which I guess made sense because this was the first time this had ever happened.

"You could've just told me instead of creating a mega-wave that almost killed mortals. I would've let you go without consequence."

Serena shrugged. "I didn't know that was an option. Maybe you should've made that more clear earlier."

"You're correct." Jupiter said, turning away from Serena to address everyone in the room. "If any of you want to be mortal, please come to me before creating a catastrophic event." He went back to addressing only Serena. "I will make you mortal, but you also will need a punishment for creating the wave as you wanted to be mortal in the first place."

"WHAT?" shrieked Serena. "I thought that doing something big that would force you to make me mortal was the only way I could become mortal! You can't just punish me because you didn't clearly explain that someone could be turned mortal by just asking nicely."

"You will be punished." Jupiter calmly said, in a tone that suggested that he wouldn't be taking any further arguments.

The room erupted in chaos. Over the rest of the shouts, I could hear, "IT'S NOT ENTIRELY HER FAULT!", coming from a demigod with ocean influence named Erohs, who I knew was quite close with Serena.

"QUIET!" Jupiter finally called. After a few final shouts, the room fell into silence. "Fine." he said. "There will be no punishment for Serena, as this was partially my fault." Everyone cheered.

"Now," said Jupiter, "is there anything else that I need to know about that has happened lately?" Nobody spoke. "Alright then, this meeting is dismissed. Serena, come with me." He stepped off his podium in the front of the room and waited for Serena. Once she had walked over to him, Jupiter opened the door behind him and they both went inside, the door shutting firmly after them.
