Yoo its a tunnel! How exciting! ^
(Just ignore how the torches are very tilted its fineeeeeeee and it definitely doesn't drive me crazy and I definitely didn't spend a long time trying to fix them to no avail.)

Jewel bugeled once, flying into the entrance of a cave. Sapnap and I exchanged a look before following him into the hole in the mountains.
Reaching the foot of the Crow Mountains was a great relief after journeying across the desert directly east of it for two days. It was even more of a relief that Sapnap's necklace got brighter with each passing hour that we were moving. Jewel was definitely leading us in the right direction.
Inside the cave, it wasn't as dark as I'd thought it would be. In fact, there were lit torches on the wall every so often, held by metal brackets wedged into the stone. It seemed like they were enchanted with eternal fire because the torches looked ancient and the flames didn't move an inch although the cave was drafty.
"What is this place?" Sapnap asked. I didn't have an answer for him. I think I was just as confused as he was over this cavern. Actually, it seemed like more of a tunnel than a cavern.
We walked down the tunnel for a long time. We even needed to stop for a while and set up camp for the night or whatever time of day it was. It's kind of hard to tell if it's evening or morning in a cave.
About two hours after we'd packed up our camp and continued walking, Sapnap and I came to a sign elegantly hung from the top of the tunnel. Sapnap read it out loud. "Tall Rock Village: 3.5 hours."
"Huh, there must be a village at the end of this tunnel." I said, studying the sign. The handwriting on the sign looked troll-esque, which would make sense. We were in the Crow Mountains after all, known for being the top place where trolls chose to settle.
We continued forward through the tunnel, towards Tall Rock Village, whatever that was. After roughly 3.5 hours, there was a big bend in the tunnel. It was impossible to see beyond the bend.
"This is sketchy." Sapnap commented.
I nodded. "It is, but it's our only way forward."
Jewel, who had already flown around the bend, flew back to us, bugeling. He tipped his head slightly, as if to ask why we weren't following him.
"Let's get this over with." Sapnap sighed, walking around the bend and out of sight. I hurried to catch up with him. The bend was incredibly difficult to negotiate when you were carrying a boat with you, but I managed to get around it without Tin Can hitting the wall once.
