"Shit, shit, shit!" Izuku cursed under his breath, running like a madman to his condo.

He had been on patrol, Hawks needed him to scour around his area for a man that had escaped from the police, Izuku had done as told and scoured the area, though he was unable to find him.

And he realized that he was seriously late.

Mina had texted him the time and place that she and Ochako had picked, and Izuku thought that he would have enough time to help his brother out before having to leave.

He was dead wrong.

Barging into his condo, he didn't even pay any mind to the woman who sat on his counter, sipping her coffee.

"Hello to you too!" Hatsume called sassily while thumping and other loud crashing noises could be heard from Izuku's room, and then his shower was running.

"Are you dead!?" Hatsume called again, knowing the man could hear her.

Only a few minutes later, Izuku came running out of his room, hair wet while his clothes were held in his arms, thankfully a pair of boxers covering his lower half.

"Izuku, breathe, what the fuck is going on?" Hatsume questioned while Izuku groaned loudly and grabbed the towel that was wrapped around his shoulder as he wrung out his hair, trying to fluff it dry the best he could.

"I'm going to be late with that lunch I told you about," Izuku answered simply as he squeezed his hair a final time before moving on to getting changed.

"Oh right, with Pinky and Uravity right? Because you saved their kid?" Hatsume drawled while Izuku nodded as he fumbled with his jeans, mumbling curses to himself as the small rips near the ankles kept catching on his toes.

"Good luck with that one!" Hatsume cackled while Izuku glared at her as he finally got his jeans on and grabbed his belt, sewing it through the loops before tightening it.

"Why the fuck are you here!?" Izuku groaned, grabbing his grey sleeveless turtleneck as he pointedly glared at the Alpha.

"I wanted coffee, and I wanted to make sure you didn't do anything stupid on patrol," Hatsume answered simply, taking another sip of her coffee as she accusingly stared at Izuku.

"I didn't realize I needed to report to you too?" Izuku sassed as he pulled his hair out from his shirt, grabbing his hair brush and combing through his thick locks the best he could before settling for a messy braid.

"Well, since I am your bestie, yes you do~" Hatsume cooed while Izuku made a show of gagging as he grabbed his jacket and threw it over his shoulders, smoothing out the wrinkles in its dark blue fabric.

"What time were you supposed to meet up with them?" Hatsume questioned while Izuku muttered under his breath, checking that he had everything he needed, his phone, his wallet, his gift for Yumiko, and his switchblade.

Look, he wasn't always allowed to use his quirk. And a man's gotta defend himself somehow.

"12:30, why?" Izuku questioned as he stuffed his things in his pockets.

"You got thirty minutes to get there on time." Hatsume shrugged while Izuku screeched as he looked at his clock, quickly sprinting to his door where he pulled on his ankle-length black leather boots and grabbed his keys hanging on the hanger positioned next to his front door.

"Lock up once you leave!" Izuku shouted as he bound out the door, slamming it behind him as he sprinted as fast as he could, thankful that the restaurant they had chosen was closer to where Izuku lived.

Once he saw the sign for the small diner, where a few people were sitting outside in the seating area talking idly, Izuku slowed his sprint to a light jog as he did his best to get his breathing back in control and seem as presentable as possible.
