If there was one thing Izuku was known for at Fujiya Hospital, it was sometimes doing things unexpectedly.
A man picking up his son mere minutes after the call was made to the boy's parents? Izuku called bullshit and instantly pulled the kid away from the man, which he was in the right for because his real parents showed up ten minutes later with the authorities.
Some random woman being rude to one of the nurses? Not happening on the doctor's watch. He'd personally escort her out and then say some very unprofessional things when he was out of his vicinity of work.
So, most who have worked at Fujiya within the two years of the doctor coming to the hospital wouldn't be too surprised anymore. But even still this was strange, even for Dr. Izuku Midoriya.
It was 6:45 am, one hour and fifteen minutes before the doctor's shift started. And yet here he was, coming in much earlier than normal, looking like death ran over, and carrying a sleeping child.
"Dr. Midoriya?!" Himari Ito, a golden-eyed, blue-haired Beta who was one of the few nurse practitioners that knew the doctor on more than a professional level. The woman ran forward to the man as Izuku sighed heavily and handed the child off to her, quickly leaning against the wall as he heaved.
"Midoriya are you, all right?" Dr. Minato Suzuki, a magenta-haired, blue-eyed fellow doctor that Izuku had done a few of his internships, the man was only a year or two older than him, though they had ended up doing their residencies and internships together out of pure luck or spite.
Izuku nodded shakily rubbing his eyes harshly to clear his vision. "Get that girl checked in, her name is Yumiko Ashido, call the authorities so they can do their questioning, and run an X-Ray and an MRI. Someone find out who her parents are and call them immediately." Izuku ordered, pushing himself off of the wall as he led Himari down the hallway while Suzuki followed after them.
"Himari, get it done, Also, Midoriya, what happened?! How did you find this girl and what in the name of the gods happened to you?!" Suzuki nodded to the practitioner while the woman nodded back to him and took the child away, though Izuku only continued to head forward, heading to one of the vacant rooms to start his report immediately.
"Long story short, two thugs were trying to rekidnap her, she's been missing for two weeks, which also as I said, find out who her parents are, she didn't have any major injuries from what I could tell, I fed her and got her cleaned up and headed over here," Izuku stated as he sat down on one of the seats in the vacant office, quickly signing into one of the computers and starting up the report.
"Sweet spirits... All right. But when was the last time you slept?" Suzuki questioned while Izuku shrugged.
"No important right now." Izuku sighed as he printed the report, heading to the X-Ray room to give his report to Himari, though he was followed by Suzuki.
"That's not a reassuring answer." The man sighed, though Izuku only raised a brow at the man, sparing him only a glance as he continued walking.
"Have you called the authorities yet?" The Omega questioned condescendingly while the other doctor glared at the greenette for a moment before pulling out his phone dramatically.
The doctor made the call, and the two came into the room just as Himari finished off with the MRI. "Ah, Midoriya, she's okay. No internal damage except for a bit of malnutrition, she's still asleep though." The nurse sighed as she showed Izuku the results of the tests. Izuku nodded and handed her the report he had already filled out.
"Can we pull up any records for her to find out who her parents are?" The doctor questioned while Himari hummed to herself as she clicked away at the keyboard.
