"My car." I said without hesitation, when I noticed he was surprised I added "you'll see why."

At the end of the garage was an orange McLaren P1 wrapped with a gold bow and a tag with my name on it.

"Nice." I said to myself as I got in and pulled the keys from beneath the visor. I revved the engine listening to her purr happily as I set the revs. I revved it again as Steve leant on the open door,

"Are you sure you can drive this thing?" He asked concerned for his safety I'd guess.

"Yep, I took driver's ed." I smiled. He got in and we left the garage. I put her into gear and pulled off. We drove around a while before we got to the hospital and parked a few blocks away. Getting out Steve looked up at the building,

"What's here?"

"Nothing." I replied crossing the street. He stayed by the car, "You coming?" I called to him and he jogged over, shield in hand. "This is where we're going." I said motioning the hospital building as it came into view around the corner.

"Are you alright?!" He asked suddenly as we walked to the ward.

"Yes why?" I replied.

"We're in a hospital Liz." He stated.

"Yes and I'd have made you come with me to an appointment dressed like that." I said sarcastically.

"Point taken." He said before shutting up as we reached the ward. The nurse greeted me, with a goofy grin and a bro hug; his blond shaggy cut hair tickling my ear.

"Ella, it's good to see you." Before he hastily added, "I'm afraid Dr. Banner not here."

"It's OK Marty, I brought a friend." I motioned to Steve. They were around the same height but Steve was a little more muscular. Though I knew Marty worked out and was proud of it.

"It's an honour to meet you sir," Marty said reaching to shake his hand. Steve shook his hand and replied politely

"And you."

"Can we go in?" I asked.

"Sure." He smiled. I stood by the door and formed some ice lanterns. I sent them into the ward one at a time until it was lit. I walked in and was greeted by happy faces. They gasped and started whispering as Steve followed me.

One of them spoke up before I had chance,

"Were you scared when you were fighting the aliens, sir?" He said.

"Yes but I knew I had to be brave so I could help people." He paused walking to the bed before continuing, "nowhere near as brave as you all are." He smiled back at me and he sat on the bed with the kid.

I sat in the middle of the room and let the green swirls spread. Steve was talking to them as I removed the pain. He spoke about all sorts of things even Bucky, Peggy and my father.

Once I'd finished I stayed sat and listen for a few minutes before a little girl asked me,

"Are you two together?" I looked at Steve and he wouldn't meet my gaze as he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. I smiled,

"I guess you could say that."

"Liz, you might want to see this!" Marty called from the other room. I went through and on the TV the news roll was playing,
