Way to fool you ~ Movie Sonknux!

Part of the blame.

TAILS POV:

"What?! No! Tails we can't allow you to." Maddie said.

"It's the only way.."

"It's more dangerous for you, than for me." I softly said.

"You can't say that if they're looking for you." Tom added.

"I can track Sonic down. Besides, I'm a fox, and a fox is sneaky. It works out." I answered.

"And you sure you can come back home safely!?" Tom asked.

" You know I will."

KNUCKLES POV:

This hedgehog..

He's more interesting than I have ever thought of, I think I'm actually going to enjoy spending time with him. 

There's just something in him that really catches my eye.

Something I don't know yet.

"Hey check out that raccoon!" Sonic pointed, and ran towards it. 

"Don't touch it! What if it attacks you?!" I followed him.

"Raccoons don't do any harm, Knuckles. They're very sweet animals." Sonic said, petting the animal.

He's so kind with it.

Sonic grabbed my arm and pulled me onto one knee as he is.

"Since you're new on the planet, I bet you've never seen a raccoon." He said.

"I didn't even know they were called that.." I mentioned.

"You want to pet it?" He asked.

"I- um.. I suppose." I hesitated.

I slowly placed my hand on the animal's head and started stroking it's head.

"They like you!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Well, why wouldn't they?" I stated.

He chuckled as a response.

"Hey Sonic.. I wanted to speak to you about something, if you don't mind." I said while still petting the animal.

"Yeah sure Knuckles, what is it?"

"I don't tell this to anyone.. but now that we're friends, I trust you." I looked at him.

He doesn't say anything, but just listens.

"My tribe has been wiped out years ago.. that includes my father. I want to restore everything back to the way it was, but I can't do it.. " I sighed, as I laid my back on the grass beneath me.

"There has to be a way.." He sat next to me.

"There is!.." I answered. "I need a power source, and with that.. it'll fix everything!" I exclaimed.

"What is it?" Sonic asked.

"An object called 'The master emerald'."

"What?! But that's not re-"

I quickly sat up and put my hand on his lips.

"Oh, but it does exist."

And you're going to tell me where it is.

I blinked.

"Where's the master emerald Sonic?" I said, looking deep into his eyes.

"I don't know." He whispered.

"Ugh! Do you at least have some information about it?!" I groaned.

"I've been told that there's a map where it's located."
