SONIC POV:

I land back onto the ground and see Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie running towards me.

"Sonic!.. you look, different. It's a good different!"Maddie said.

"Yeah.. " I answered nervously, placing a hand on my neck. "Robotnik is defeated, he won't bother us ever again."

Tom came up to me and wrapped his arms around me. "We missed you."

"And I missed you." I replied. "I'm sorry, for the way I've been acting!.. I didn't mean to-"

"Sonic, Sonic.. it's okay! We're not mad that you left, we were just really worried, we were practically dying of the worry." Maddie answered, and hugged me as well.

"We see that you met a friend." Maddie added, turning to Knuckles and Tom as well.

"Oh.. he's not a friend actually." I smiled at Knuckles. "He's my-"

"STOP IT RIGHT THERE."

We all each looked at the figure who spoke.

"The government?!" Tails asked.

"Put your hands up! That includes you space creatures!" One of the federal agents yelled, pulling a weapon from their back.

"You really should have taken me up on that brunch, Mr. and Mrs. Wachowski."

"Olive Garden Guy?" Tom said.

The agents then start surrounding us and we respond by huddling near each other.

"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. You chose. Hand us those creatures very slowly and carefully." The commander of the federal agents said.

"Sonic and the rest are not a threat. They're on our side." Maddie stated.

"They're an uncontrolled extra-terrestrial. And your days of aiding and abetting them are over." He answered. 

"You're still not explaining what they've done wrong!" Maddie yelled.

"After the events in San Francisco, a global task force was created, devoted to protecting our planet from alien threats. That day, Guardian Units of Nations was born."

"G-U-N. Seriously?" Tails placed his hands on his hips.

"GUN, yeah."

"They literally saved us from Robotnik just now!" Tom shouted.

"And what if they don't even save the world anymore, what if they attempt to destroy it?"

I was tired of this guy saying nonsense, word after word. I passed through Maddie and Tom, coming closer and closer to the general.

"Sonic! What are you doing?!" Knuckles whispered.

"Don't come near me alien! Or are you asking for a death wish?!" He yelled at me, and I ignored him.

"They'll shoot you." He warned me. I didn't listen.

"Sonic, don't!" Tails cried out.

"FIRE AT THIS DEMON!" He shouted. With their attempt on doing so, I was completely unfazed & unharmed.

"My god.." he whispered.
