Right these wrongs.

KNUCKLES POV:
After hours of walking we arrived on a small island in the center of the ocean.

"Is this it?" I asked.

"This is where the compass brought us, it definitely has to be correct." Tails said, taking a gadget from behind his back.

"Now... how can you use this?" Tails asked himself. "Ah, there's a slot on the ground where you should insert the compass!"

Tails then places the compass into a slot on the ground. The area suddenly shakes violently.

"Another shake?.." I asked as I looked into the ground.

A labyrinth then erupts from the sea. Tails and I now look at one another in confusion.

"That did the trick." Tails chuckled.

We started making our way down the stairs leading to the entrance of the labyrinth.

"Because this a labyrinth, it will definitely have traps with each step you strive to take." He points the gadget towards the entrance.

"What are you doing?"

"Obviously deactivating them. We don't have enough time for all that." Tails answered.

"Wow... you're really, really smart." I said in shock.

"Done. Let's go!" Tails ran inside.

Once we've entered, it took a long walk to get the master emerald. Tails and I look to see a stairway leading up to the master emerald, which is being held up by a stream of green light stretching into the sky.

"The master emerald..." I whispered.

"It is real!" Tails cried out. "Sonic would definitely have his jaw dropped right now if he saw this."

We walked up to the staircase, and I grabbed the emerald.

"We're on our way Sonic."

SONIC POV:

I slightly open my eyes once again and see a figure right in front of me. I couldn't tell who it was since my vision became blurry.

"Who.. are you?" I asked.

They put a finger to their lips, signaling me to silence. I felt a sharp pain on my thighs.

"Ouch!" I shouted. I quickly got up, but my head wouldn't let me focus on what was happening to me. I felt lightheaded once again. Then, I felt an injection in my arm.

"What are you doing?.." I asked as I flopped onto the desk below me.

Knuckles.. where are you? Have you even came to check on me at all?

TAILS POV:

"I wanted to ask you something, Knuckles?"

"What is it?" He asked.

"What did you do to Sonic that's making him die slowly?" I glared at him. "I want you to answer me."

"I used him in the beginning. I needed him to take me to the master emerald, they were orders that were given to me-"

" By who?!"

"Someone that goes by the name Robotnik."

My eyes widened.
