Way to fool you ~ Movie Sonknux!

New company.

TAILS POV:

The echidna stopped near a bunch of trees, now surrounding us. He slowly turned to look at me.

"Don't you dare move!" I quickly pulled the taser from my back and pointed it towards him.

"I don't count on it fox." He said as he slowly put his hands up.

"Before I tase you, I'm only going to ask you this only once! Where is Sonic?!" I yelled.

"He's fine—"

"I appreciate that you told me the state he's in, but that's not what I asked!"

"For now."

"What do you mean?.."

"He's only fine for now." He answered.

"What did you do the him?!" I asked.

"I- that's not for you to know quite yet until-"

"TELL ME WHAT YOU DID, DO WANT TO GET TASED?!" I shouted.

"He's dying alright! He's dying.." he cried out.

My eyes widened in response. I couldn't believe what I just heard.

My best friend..

My brother..

Is dying.

"You're lying.." I felt tears filling up in my eyes.

"I wish I was.." he sighed.

My hands were trembling, I wanted to tase him.. I wanted to tase him so badly. But something in his eyes were telling me that he was also truly devastated of Sonic's 'fine' state.

I dropped the taser on the ground, and fell onto my knees.

"Hey, hey, relax there fox.." he sprinted towards me, putting a hand on my shoulder for comfort.

"How do you want me to relax after what you just told me?" I felt the tears already streaming down my face.

"You didn't let me finish, there's a way to save him! But I need your help.." he said, giving my shoulder a slight squeeze. 

"A way to help him?.. how?!" I cried out.

"The master emerald.. and before you say anything! It does exist, Sonic gave me a map." He smiled slightly.

"So.. he could live, right?" I felt more tears streaming down my face.

"Of course he can! Will you help me?" He asked.

"I will.."

"Good. Now stop crying will you?" He grabbed my face and started to rub the tears off my face.

"I can't control it." I chuckled a bit.

"I could tell." He said as he put his hands on his hips.

"We've got no time to waste! Where's the map? I could be able to locate it quick."

"Right.. here it is." He handed it to me.

It only took a few seconds to locate it since it was easy for me to calculate the readings on my gadgets.

"Looks like.. here it is." I showed my gadget to him. He leaned down a bit to take a closer look and nodded.

"I have no idea what that means, but it seems right." He scratched his head.

"Then let's go!" I ran and the echidna followed.

As time started passing more and more, the echidna and I kept on moving without taking single break. I even offered to carry him but he told me that he wasn't quite tired yet and I believed him. Passing through piles of dirt, rocks, and finally snow.

"How much time does Sonic have?.." I asked.

"About two weeks." He answered. "With the emerald, he'll feel better fox." 

"Will you stop calling me that? I have a name you know." I rolled my eyes. "It's Tails."

"I'm Knuckles." He put a thumb to his chest.

"About time I know your name." I said as I tilted my hit quite a bit. "So much better than calling you echidna, eh?"

"And it's so much better than calling you fox."

I wanted to ask him, and so I'm going to.

"Knuckles.. what is Sonic to you?"

KNUCKLES POV:

"What's Sonic to me?" I repeated. Tails nodded.

"He's a friend of course." I answered. "Though.. do friends place their lips together?" I whispered.

"You guys kissed?!" Tails asked.

"So that's what it's called.." I said. "But I didn't kiss him, he kissed me.. I didn't know what exactly to do."

"And that's not all, he told me told me 'I like you'" I added.

"And what about you? Do you return those feelings" he raised a brow.

"I- um.. if that's the feeling that's inside my chest every-time I see him then.."

"You like him!" Tails yelled.

"I've never felt like this for anyone." I looked at the ground.

"You guys were made to find each other.." Tails smiled. "That's adorable!" He shook my shoulders.

"Now hold on.. what if he doesn't?" I questioned.

"Knuckles, please. He literally kissed you, what do you mean he doesn't?!"

"I just didn't think he swung that way you know?" Tails added.

"Swung what way?" I asked.

"It's an expression." Tails stated. "I meant that I didn't know he liked men, he never really talked to me about it." Tails placed a hand on his chin.

"I see.. well I didn't intend on liking anybody but things change I suppose." Knuckles rolled his eyes.

"You've got to tell him Knuckles. You can't keep those feelings bottling up inside you, can you?"

"No.." I answered.

We then spot one particular mountain and we land at the entrance.

"Hey! Here it is!" Tails exclaimed, and ran inside.

"Wait! We don't know what's in there!" I shouted.

I ran after him until he stopped to wait for me to catch up. We started to walk forward as we look up to another entrance in the shape of a giant owl warrior..which brought back more memories.

"Huh? Its just some gigantic owl.. unless." Tails said as he pulled out the map. "Ah ha! These symbols.."

Tails proceeded to walk forward and changed the slots to match those on the map. The statue then starts to shake..

"What's going on?.." I asked.

"No idea.."

The statue spreads it's wings and its eyes glow green. A slot in front of the plate opens up to reveal an orb that opens to reveal the compass.

"This was only the first step?!" I yelled, and Tails nodded in disappointment.

"Cmon! We got to keep moving." I ran out of the entrance and Tails followed.

"Now we go where this compass takes us." Tails said.

"Lead the way."
