Naruto and Sasuke returned to the village, equally bored. The ninja of the Hatenshi clan weren't very powerful, as Sasuke was cutting them down with ease and he's only around part 1 Kakashi's level. Plus, when the main threat came out, Naruto dealt with her easily, and Naruto was just using them as a test for his Magnet Release.
The two sighed, as they headed to the Hokage office to report their mission.
"Naruto and Sasuke reporting a successful B ranked mission. We headed to the Land of Metal, and the main village (forgot the name), where we found the Shokage. The Shokage informed us of the whereabouts of the Hatenshi clan compound, where there were about 500-600 members, but only 300 were able to fight, 301 including clan head, who didn't come out until after her whole clan was wiped out. She was killed shortly after, and I cashed in her bounty." Naruto explained, earning a nod from Hiruzen
"Do you want another mission?" Hiruzen asked
"No, I think we should rest for now." Sasuke answered, before Naruto nodded in agreement
"Very well then, let me know when you want your next mission." Hiruzen replied

*2 days later*
Naruto and Sasuke returned to the Hokage, office, requesting another mission.
"Here's a mission. From Iwagakure, surprising, they want us to spy on Kumogakure, and give them information on Kumogakure's borders." Hiruzen explained
"Interesting, knowing Iwa's relationship with Konoha, and factoring in past events, their goal here is probably to start a war between Konohagakure and Kumogakure." Naruto said, earning a nod from Hiruzen.
"Then they'll use that chance to invade Konoha." Sasuke added
"Will you accept the mission?" Hiruzen asked
"Yes, Hopefully we can spin this back on Iwagakure." Naruto answered, as Hiruzen handed him the scroll
"Good luck." Was all Hiruzen could say before the Chunin exited his office.
Naruto and Sasuke headed to the main gate together, but not before both of their names are called.
"Naruto? Sasuke?"
The Chunin inwardly sighed due to recognizing the voice. Turning around, standing there was none other than the loud, Yamanaka Ino. Naruto and Sasuke just looked at her.
"I heard from Kiba that you two are already Chunin, is that true?" Ino asked
Naruto and Sasuke nodded.
"So..are you two going on a mission?"
Naruto and Sasuke nodded.
"Well...good luck!"
Naruto and Sasuke nodded. Ino sweatdropped.
'Would it kill them to speak?' Ino thought as she walked away with a awkward smile
Naruto and Sasuke turned around and left the village, heading for Kumogakure. After a week of travelling, the two finally arrived.
"Stop right there!" The Kumogakure Guards yelled
"We'd like passage into the village. We're here from Konoha to inform the Raikage of plans from Iwagakure." Naruto explained
"You really think we're going to believe you just because you said so? Passports?" The chunin asked
"We have none, but you can have our cards." Naruto said as he and Sasuke handed them the cards.
"You really think we'll believe these fabricated cards? There's no way you're Chunin at the age of 10." The chunin laughed
