*BRANDON WALTER*

The doctor said that Devon is now experiencing a traumatic stress. She may not tell us but she was trying to remember about what happened and will lead to flashes of memory and eventually stressed her out.

"I already gave her a medicine that will calm her down." The doctor said.

"Thank you." I said trying to calm myself.

"What can we do for her... so that she won't lose herself like that?" Dave asked, worried about her daughter.

The doctor released a sigh. "Don't leave her alone. She needs someone beside her, someone that she can trust, someone to protect her." He said then left.

We all fell into silence. I can clearly read Dave's mind as he clenched his fists into balls. I also feel the same way. I can feel anger rising in me.

My phone rang. It's Pat.

"Yeah."

"One of the men that took Devon has been caught."

"Really? Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"Mizzy is here with me and she confirmed that he is one of them."

"Ok I'll be there ASAP!" I hang up.

"I have to go. One of the men who took Devon was caught." I said informing them.

"I will go with you." Dave said and took his jacket. "Cole. Cathy. Take care of your mom and your sister, if anything happens, call me ok?" Cole and Cathy nodded with worried faces.

We drove to the police station where Pat and Mizzy were.

"Where is that bastard?" Dave asked Pat.

"The police are now interrogating him inside." Pat said and led us to a room with a big glass where we can see the criminal being questioned by the police. We watched as they moved on to the procedures.

"He was caught when the police made a drug raid the other day. They noticed that my description of the kidnappers and that man matched so they called me." Mizzy said, some tears escaped from her eyes.

"They will pay for this." I said. She nodded.

We watched and listen to the interrogation.

"Do you know this girl?" The police put a picture of Devon on the table so that the man with a beard can see it.

He lazily looked at it... then laughed. I wanted to punch him right in his face.

"Should I know this chick?" He said with a grin on his face.

"I will ask you again. Do you know this girl?"

"I don't. Who the hell is she?" He rolled his eyes.

I swear I can kill this man right now. He doesn't remember her? He doesn't remember what they did to her? And now she is suffering alone because of these scumbags!

I heard a thud. "Damn him!" Dave punched the wall. He is now full with anger, same as me.

"She is Devon Mcknight. She lived at 5th street Dacota Avenue. She was living with three other girls." The police said. "Last October 25 you broke in their house. Now do you remember her?"

His eyes widened with what the police said.

There was no response.

"You took one of the girls who saw you breaking in."

"Oh so her name was Devon. Nice." He said maniacally.

I stormed towards the door, I can't take this anymore. But the other police held me back.
