Were shackles truly the thing meant to hold a special someone prisoner? Or was it whatever it was that such person felt at the moment?

(Y/N) didn't exactly knew.

"I think we should settle up for today." Aki said, getting up from the chair right at (Y/N)'s bed side. "You've improved a lot, you know?" He closed the book he was holding with his hand. "You're able to read complete sentences now, soon you will no longer need my help at all."

"Oh, that's great!" (Y/N) excitedly said, although he tried to keep his voice down. "I really like it."

"Yeah, I can see that." Aki responded. "And I'm quite surprised on how fast you're learning, why are you so focused in such a thing?"

"Well, I've never got proper education, so I thought learning how to read may be a great start!"

Aki fell silent for a couple of moments, trying to avoid (Y/N)'s eyes as a sudden pang of sadness struck the back of his mind. "So how is she?" He asked now.

(Y/N) looked down, where Power was resting. She was lying down on their bed, in a strange position as she rested her head right on (Y/N)'s lap, who was sitting with his back right against the back of the bed. Meowy was right at her side, and Power hugged her tightly as she snuggled into (Y/N)'s body. "She's still scared of darkness." He muttered. "Last night we had to sleep with the lights on because she refused to stay in the dark."

"She seemed really scared the moment we were brought into Hell." Aki commented. "All of the fiends were."

"She told me something about it, yeah." (Y/N) said, running his fingers through Power's long hair. "It must be really traumatic for a devil to arrive Hell in such a manner. I mean, I'm no expert, but I really doubt they like that place."

"Perhaps you're right." Aki simply said, the door behind him that led to the hallway screeched slightly, and the both of them turned to stare at the figure that entered the dorm.

"Morning." Denji simply said, scurrying into the room while stretching his arms, yawning. "Good thing you've got at least one of your arms back, you can still cook!" He said to Aki, who simply sighed in disappointment. (Y/N) simply chuckled; a good laugh would come in handy after all that happened.

"That's the only good outcome." Aki grimly said, apparently the joke had brought him sad memories about the whole event. "The Angel Devil's arms couldn't be reattached again, Violence and Shark Fiends are dead, Kobeni turned in her resignation card and Power is constantly scared of the darkness." (Y/N) felt Power slightly shudder on his lap, and knew something bad was about to happen.

"Gyaaaaaa!" Power's shrill cry of desperation ringed through their ears, Denji jumped at least six foot into the air and Aki simply sighed as he walked off the room, shortly followed by Denji.

"I told you to keep your voice down!" (Y/N) scolded as the both of them left the room, and he reached for both of Power's hands while she scrambled into her feet, trying desperately to get up and run. "Power, Power!" He tried to call for her, although she didn't seem much cooperative. "Calm down please!"

"There's something in my mouth!" She cried once she had been properly pinned down into the bed by (Y/N), and she hugged his waist with both her legs still shivering in fear. "There's something in my mouth!" She repeated.

"Well, let me see." (Y/N) simply complied, already gotten used to Power's strange outbursts of fear. He loosened his grip on her hands, caressing them with his fingers as he tried to calm Power down. Power sat on the bed, still hugging (Y/N)'s waist with her legs, and opened her mouth in order to allow (Y/N) to see. "Nope, there's nothing in there." He said after taking a simple glance.
