Denji could feel the way he was being torn apart by each one of the explosion Reze detonated, the way he was being launched into the air, and the moment he fell right into his back and broke every bone he had left on his spine. He knew engaging in direct combat with Reze was a particularly bad idea, he just didn't know to what extent.
He was pretty tired after all. But he was awfully sure and content with what he had told her earlier. He was really tired of seeing people die for him.
"You are regenerating." Reze said, looking down at the torn mass of organs and blood that conformed Denji's maimed figure on the ground. "You were revving your chainsaw before I kicked you?"
Denji tried to fight back as he felt himself being lifted from the ground, his organs now separating from the mere try of regeneration his body was able to perform in his already pitiful state. He tried to scream, before he was suddenly shut off by a powerful explosion that engulfed his remains, shot directly through Reze's fingers.
As the smoke flew away, Reze stared at the pitiful remainings of what was left of Denji's body. His arms had been completely blown apart, engulfed by the fire. The chainsaw of his forehead was broken, and she was able to notice the moment his body stopped the struggle, breathing for the last time before dying.
She walked off, trying to escape the place stepping through the corpses of the innocent people that had fell due to the severe explosions she had constantly detonated in the facility. The crunching noises of broken bones shattered the silence as she walked through the fallen debris of former buildings.
Aki seemed to appear out of nowhere, and slashed her from behind with his sword, cutting the arm in which she held Denji's mutilated body.
Reze was swift to return the attack, and the ropes of her now missing arm extended towards Aki in a hurling motion. Due to the sheer power of the movement, the ropes struck in the air like a multi tailed whip, causing a powerful explosion witch each crack of the fuses. Aki was swift to dodge the attack in a quick step back, and managed to cut Reze once again with a swing of his blade, this time in an upwards slash on her back.
Reze's arm had already regenerated by now, replaced by a long sleeve of bomb fuses resembling ropes that intertwined to give shape. Aki noted this, and was able to dodge the upcoming barrage of punches she released in his direction. He was being severely helped by his ability to see a small fraction of the future, which allowed him to prepare against every attack.
Aki paled for a moment, however, the moment he saw the way Reze transformed her left arm in a surprising attack. And so, the strings and ropes that composed her right arm suddenly contorted and crawled to form another type of shape in her hands. Her arm had transformed into a type of device Aki thought was resembling a torpedo, and he remembered the way she had used this kind of attack against Denji.
Aki tried to step back once again, desperately run of the devastating blow he saw in the future, but it was no use. As Reze punched in the general direction where he was standing with her transformed arm, Aki felt himself yanked out of the ground and being thrown away by a pair of arms that held him from behind.
Upon opening his eyes, Aki saw the image of Galgali, the Violence Fiend, who had saved him from the explosion. "Sorry, I'm late to the party!" Galgali said, as Aki left a sigh of relief.
"I think this is the first time I've ever wanted to be friends with a devil." Aki said blankly. Of course he was lying.
"Hey, time out you two!" Reze spoke through her sharp teeth in her unnatural voice. Aki and Galgali stopped for a moment, cautiously observing the way she was slowly approaching them, her arms raised. "I'm anemic and practically naked, and now it's two on one? That's not fair."
