Chapter 14

Alissa's POV

When I got back home, I found Bash sleeping on the couch. He must have fallen asleep waiting for me to come home. He looked so peaceful that I decided not to wake him. I put a blanket over him, and kissed his head. I headed upstairs and went to sleep. Playing with those kids can make you tired.

Sebastian's POV

I woke up to find that I was still on the couch. It was nine in the morning. Then it hit me. Alissa must have never came home. I started to panic. I mean if she came home she would have woken me up, wouldn't she. I was panicking. 'Logan, Luke come here now!' 'We are on our way.'

They came through the doors. "Sebastian whats wrong." "Alissa, she never came home. I have no clue where she is. Man I am freaking out. " "Dude calm down, we will find her. Don't worry." Luke said trying to calm me down.

Alissa's POV

When I woke up I notice Bash never came to bed. He must still be in the living room. When I walk down stairs I see him, Luke, and Logan talking about a search party. "Ok, I need both of you to go get a search party for her. " Why would they need a search party? Who are they going to look for? "Who do you need a search party for?" I asked. "Alissa." Bash said. "But I am-" He turned back to face me. "Alissa oh my gosh, where have you been. You made me worry sick." He said pulling me into a hug. "I was asleep. Where else would I be?" "I thought you got kidnapped or something. " I laughed. he just kept hugging me. I pulled away. "I am going got fix breakfast now." They nodded, and followed me into the kitchen. They all sat down at the island. I just shook my head, and started to cook pancakes. "So what are you guys up to, today?" I asked setting the pancakes onto the island.

Before they could say anything, all the pancakes were gone. Animals. I didn't even get one. "You guys are pigs." I said. "I know but you love me for it." Bash said. I was trying to be mad at him, but he was doing that smirk that made me go crazy about him. I just rolled my eyes and turned my back to him. "Like I said before what are all of you doing today?" "We are suppose to see those new wolves that came here yesterday or whatever." "Can I come?" "No. Until we know if they are good people or not you are not allowed to go see them.You understand me Alissa." Bash said with a stern tone. "Oh come one Bash.They can't do to much harm. Can I please go?" I said showing him puppy dog eyes. I knew he couldn't say no when I did this. "Fine. You can come but you have to be next to me at all times. Understand." He said pulling me to him. I nodded my head and gave him a peck on his lips, before I ran upstairs to get dress. I could hear Luke yell something to me. "Can you cook more pancakes?" I rolled my eyes. "Cook your own damn food, I am getting ready." I could hear them telling him that he got burned. After I got dress I headed back down stairs. I could see all three of them playing a video game. "Aren't we suppose to be going, and not playing video games?" "Yeah, sure, whatever after this round." They all said shaking their hands at me to go and leave them alone. I just rolled my eyes and went over to the tv and unplugged it. "Oh come on. I was winning." Logan complained. "Babe what was that for?" "We have to leave. You can play video games later ok." They all nodded, and we headed out the door. I saw veronica sitting on their front porch.I wonder if she told Logan yet.

We pulled up to this white house, in town. It looked really nice. We all walked up to the front door. Bash held me close to him. Logan rang the door bell. A older woman open it. "Oh hello there. Can I help you?" Bash walked up to her. Luke kept me behind him. "Listen we know what you are, and I know that you know what we are, so mine explaining to me what you are doing on my land?" Bash said using his alpha tone. The lady then figured out he was alpha, and she bowed her head. "Sorry alpha, please forgive me. We just moved back here from North Carolina. Would all of you like to come in?" We all nodded. Bash kept me behind him. We all sat down at her dining room table. "Well I am guessing all of you are still wondering what I am doing here, so I guess I might as well explain." We nodded for her to continue. "My family and I use to live here about five or six years ago. We were part of the night shade pack. Then we had to move to North Carolina because some of our family members needed us. And just yesterday we moved back here. " Before we could say anything, a guy who looked to be my age came down stairs. "Mom, who was at the door?" We all stood up. Bash pulled me behind him. Of course. "Sweetie, be respectful, you are talking to the alpha." He stopped what he was doing to see, who was in front of him. He then bowed his head. "Oh, um I am sorry alpha, please for give me." I peeked over Bash's shoulder. The guy had blond hair, and blue eyes.He saw me looking at him.

"Alissa? Is that you?" I hid more behind Bash. How did he know my name? He started to walk towards me. Then I heard a loud growl. He stopped. "How do you know her?" Bash asked in his alpha tone. "We use to be friends before I moved away." He said looking at me. "Don't look at her!" He looked back at Bash. "What's your name?" "Jake." Then it hit me. Me and Jake use to be the best of friends. I step out from behind Bash. "Jake? Is that really you?" He nodded. I walked over to him and gave him a hug. "Jake! Oh my gosh. Its been forever." "Yeah it has." He said with a smile. He pulled me into another hug. Then I heard another loud growl. "Jake you should let go of me now." He let go of me. Bash pulled me back to him. I felt his chest against my back. "Bash I know these people. You can trust them. They were friends of my father." He turned me to face him. "Are you sure Alissa?" "Yes I am now invite them into the pack." I said with a demanding tone. He nodded. "Jake you and your family are invited into the pack." Jake smiled. He bowed his head. "Oh. Thank you alpha." "Well we have to get going. See you later Jake." I said with a warm smile. Then we all headed out.

Jake's POV

I headed down stairs to see my mom talking to people. "Mom who was at the door?" They all turned their heads to look at me. "Sweetie show some respect. You are talking to the alpha." I looked up and I saw a tall man standing there. He looked young so he must just become the new alpha. I bowed my head. "Sorry, alpha please forgive me." I could see a girl peeking over his shoulder. I notice she looked exactly like Alissa. "Alissa? Is that you?"I asked walking towards her. Then a loud growl stopped me. I looked up to see him looking upset. "How do you know her?" He asked using his alpha tone. "Um. We used to be friends, before I moved away." I said looking at Alissa. She looked so pretty, I mean she always has, but know she looks wonderful. "Don't look at her!" I looked back at the alpha. "What's your name?" I took a deep breath. "Jake." Alissa perked up when she heard my name then I knew that she had remembered me. "Jake? Is that really you?" I nodded. Then she walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. She smelled so good. I miss being this close to her. "Jake. Oh my gosh. Its been forever." She pulled away to look at me. "Yeah it has." I said with a warm smile. I pulled her into another hug. I breathed in her scent again. A loud growl took me out of my daze. "Jake you should probably let go of me now." She said. I let go of her. Then the alpha pulled her towards him. Then I realized that he was her mate, and she was the Luna. I was sad about that. I was to late. Fuck! She will never go out with me now. I have to figure out a plan to get her back. "Bash you have to let them into the pack." I heard her say with a demanding tone. He turned her to face him. His eyes soften. "Are you sure Alissa?" "Yes I am sure, now invite them into the pack. We can trust them. They were good friends of my dads." He nodded. "Jake you and your family and invited to join the pack. " I bowed my head. "Oh thank you alpha." "Well we have to get going now. See you later Jake." Alissa said with a smile then they left. Don't you worry Alissa, I will get you back.
