Chapter 19

ALISSA'S POV

         I woke up feeling happy, about what happen last night. When I turned over in the bed I notice that Bash wasn't there, then I saw a note on his nightstand. I got out of bed, and walked over to his night stand. The note read 'Had to leave to do pack business. I am sorry I am not there to see you wake up:( I won't be back until late, so I am giving you this day to do whatever you would like. See you tonight;) Love you.', Well since he wasn't going to be around all day I guess I will just have to find things to keep me entertain. I went to the bathroom, and took a shower, did my hair and makeup, and got dress. 'I want some waffles!' Lila said. ' We don't have anything to make waffles.' I told her back. ' Well go get some! I want some freaking waffles!!'. I just shook my head. I wasn't going tot go to the store just to get stuff to make waffles, so instead I made my self a bowl of cereal. 'This is not what I asked for!'. 'Well I am not going to the store just to get some waffles,so deal with it.' After I told her that she didn't say anything else. Once I was done eating, I went outside so I could go for run. 

      I walked to the edge of the woods, and I was about to shift, then Lila butted in again. ' Do not shift!!!'. She told me, I asked why but she never answered. So I just decided to walk , even though I would love to run, and feel the wind blowing in my fur. Once I got back to the house, I noticed that I had a couple messages from some people.  I had a message from Luke asking if I was ok, I replied yeah, I am fine. The next message was from Veronica, it said 'Hey, girl:) Its been forever since we saw each other, so I thought that maybe you, and I could hang out today. If your not busy of course;)' "I would love to hang out. Bash is gone for today and I have nothing to do, I will be over in a couple minutes;)'.  While I was walking over I was so happy, because for one I haven't seen her in forever, and for two she is going to have her baby soon.  

       I knocked on the door a couple times. When it finally open, Veronica stood there. She did look to be about seven to eight months pregnant. "Alissa!" She pulled me into a hug,  "Its been forever, I am so glad you could come over." She let me go. "I am happy to be here, I needed a girls day anyway, Hanging out with Bash all the time is not always fun because I can't talk to him like I talk to you or Winter you know?" "Yeah  I know the feeling, I been so busy getting ready for this baby that I haven't had time to talk to anybody. Now come in." She said pulling me in. 

      Since its been forever since I been in her house, of course it has changed. It looks like they have more furniture, and changed the flooring. "Would you like something to drink or eat?" "A water would be nice, I already had my breakfast." "Let me guess you had cereal?" She said that with a smirk. "Yeah, I didn't feel like cooking, so that was the next best thing." I said with a smile. She came back into the living room, and handed me a glass of water. "Well I decided that we could watch movies all day if that is ok?" She asked. "That would be wonderful. She smiled. She put on netflix, and we choose a movie. We decided to watch chic flicks, pretty much.   We ended up watching movies and talking for about all day, then I told her I had to get going because Bash might be home. 

              I haven't ate dinner yet, and I didn't feel like cooking, so I went to the store to get something. I drove to the store. When I walked in Lila started to talk to me 'Get a steak!! I want a steak!!'. 'If I get a steak I would have to cook it, and I don't feel like cooking.' I told her. 'Go somewhere where they cook one then!!!'. I didn't answer back. She has been craving all these types of different food all day, and she said I couldn't shift this morning. I wonder what is up with her. I decided that a steak would sound good, but I was still wondering what was up with her. Once I got back in my car I called my mom thinking that she might know whats up. It was ringing, "Hello," she answered," Hey mom, I need to ask you something." "What is it dear?" "My wolf, Lila, has been acting weird today. She has been craving all these different types of food, and she told me not to shift this morning, and she has been having mood swings.I don't know what is up with her, do you?" I waited for my mom to answer. "Well Alissa, it sounds that you might be Pregnant, if I was you I would go buy a test, or go to the pack doctor." "Ok mom, I will do that." Then we hung up, I had no clue what to think.I sat in the parking lot thinking about what I would do if I was, I would probably be happy of course, but I don't know what Bash would think about it. I went to the drug store, got a test, went to go get my steak, and then go home.   No one was home still, so I ate my steak then I went into the bathroom, to take the test.
