The Alpha's Daughter and the Beta's Son

Chapter 6

Sebastian POV

I woke up to someone beating on my door. I was guessing it was either my little brother or sister. Usually my dad is Busy helping, the alpha. All of the sudden my door flew open. I laid on my bed to see a girl, that looked to be my age, which is 18, and my brother who is 15. "What do you want Tristan?" "Dad told me to bring this girl to you." I got out of my bed, and walked over to him. Tristan is about a inch or two shorter than me. My father brings girls to me from our pack, so hopefully I will find my mate. He wants me to find my mate soon because, I am next in line for beta, but I wont be the next beta of this pack because I will be the next alpha of Alissa's pack.

The next beta of this pack will go to Tristan. "Tristan you can go now." Once he left, I invited the girl into my room, to tell her that I couldn't be with her. I haven't told my dad yet about Alissa, and I am thinking Alissa didn't want to tell her father last night, but I am guessing he saw the mark on her neck. I hid my mark pretty well last night.

"What is your name?" I asked as I sat on my bed, I patted next to me, for her to sit as well. "Justice." I could sense that she was nervous. "Well Justice, I am guessing you-" She cut me off. "Sorry for interrupting but you aren't my mate. I already found him, we just haven't marked each other yet. The reason is that I found him on my way to see you." "Well this makes it way easier, because I was going to tell you that I already found my mate. You must not tell my father that yet, ok." She shook her head. "If you don't mind me asking, who is your mate?" "It's a guy who walked me up here." Once she said that I knew she was talking about Tristan. The only problem is that Tristan didn't seem like he found his mate. Unless there was two people that walked her up here. "Are you talking about my brother?" "No, I heard someone calling him Austin. He couldn't finish walking me up because a girl called him saying she needed help." "Oh, Well you may leave now. Justice," I said as she was at the door," You will see him again don't worry." She gave me a sweet smile.

Once she left, I got dress. I was glad it was saturday, because I get to spend the whole day with Alissa. I also had to find something to wear to dinner tonight, and a good lie to tell my father. I am not ready to tell him I have a mate. I laid out a pale blue nice shirt, with a black tie, then a pair of black slacks, and a pair of nice shiny black shoes. After I was done I headed to the river.

Alissa's POV

When I woke up, I was happy and nervous about today. I was still kind of upset about what my mom told me last night. I am also scared of what my father would think of Sebastian. I mean he probably wouldn't kill him. My wolf whimpered at the thought of losing my mate. 'It's okay Lila my dad wouldn't want to hurt me.' I told her trying to cheer her up. I grabbed a pair of jean shorts , a tank top, and flip flops. It was going to be like 80 or more degrees today. I put my hair into a messy bun, and headed down stairs.

My mother was setting the table for breakfast. "Hey mom." She gave me a smile. "Where is dad at?" I already knew where he was at, he is doing alpha work. "He is doing work in his office. Did you need him dear?" "No, will it be okay if I, go eat breakfast with my mate?" I said, hoping she would say yes. She usually doesn't let us miss breakfast with our family, but she has to know how it is to find your mate. You never want to leave them. "I guess you could just this one time, you understand me." "Yes mother." Once I said that I took off towards the river. Sebastian is probably already there waiting for me.

I shifted back and changed behind a tree, near the river. I saw Sebastian sitting on his side laying against a rock. I felt bad making him wait. "Sorry for making you wait. I was trying to convince my mom to let me come." He turned around, smiling. Which made me smile. "Its fine, as long as you are here now." He kissed my lips softly. Then he pulled away. "So where are we going to eat at." "I packed us a picnic." My smile got wider. He laid a blanket on the ground then he pulled the food out of the basket. He pulled out pb and j sandwiches. Which are my favorite. "How did you know i liked pb and j?" I said with a smirk. "I didn't know , they are my favorite so I was hoping that you would like them." "They are my favorite too." He smiled. We probably have a lot in common. He then pulled out bottles of water and Cheetos. 

We started eating. We talked about how much we love each other, and places we would love to travel to. Also about our future together. After about a hour of talking, we sat in quiet. We laid on the ground looking up at the sky. I laid on his chest, he had his one arm wrapped around me. "Alissa," He said. "Yeah." "I haven't told my dad yet, about us. He brings a girl to me everyday, to see if its my mate. And he is going to keep doing that till I tell him. I just wanted you to know. I don't want to keep secrets from you." "Thank you for telling me. When are you going to tell him?" "I am planning to next week." I nodded. 

Around 4:30, we had to go get ready. "Sebastian, wait." He stopped before leaving. "We need to cover your scent somehow, so he won't like find out right away. " "How would I do that?" "Maybe you could wear something of mine." "Like what?" I ripped off a piece of my shirt, he smiled. I tied it around his wrist. I ripped another piece off and did the same to his other wrist. "Cover it up with your shirt you are going to wear. Let's hope this works." "Yeah lets hope." He kissed me on my cheek. Then he took off to his house. I did the same. 

Once I got to my house I headed upstairs to get ready.
