Tonight, I had my match against Paige.

I had the chance to make a statement, and I was damn sure determined to make one.

"Are you sure you're ready for this? She's pretty damn tough." Roman says.

"I know I'm ready. I didn't take 3 years out of my life to train, and come here just to lose." I say.

"Confidence. I like it." He smiles.

"That's all I'll ever really need in this company, right?" I ask.

"Who even are you right now? Where did the sweet, innocent Rose go?" He laughs.

"She goes away while business is on the table." I say.

"I can see that. Any idea when she'll be back?" He questions.

"Somewhere around 7. I'll let her know you were looking for her." I say, walking away.

"Thank you. I appreciate it." He smiles.

Roman's POV

I can't get her out of my head. She's all I can ever think about.

I wake up, I want to see her by my side.

I go to sleep, I want to hold her in my arms.

I've never felt like this for anyone before.

Rose made me see things differently for once. She made me see that it's not just about love, or wanting to be together.

It's about fixing each other from what couldn't be fixed before.

I want to fix Rose Reilly. I know I can. I just need to prove it to her.

The way she talks, and carries herself would never make you think she has a past like she does.

All I want to do is wipe away the pain, and show her that I can be the one to make her forget everything that's ever happened.

"Reigns!"

I turn around to see Ambrose walking over.

"Hey, man. What's up?" I ask.

"You haven't really been around much these days. Just making sure you're alright." He tells me.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I've just been doing some thinking recently." I tell him truthfully.

"Serious thinking, or just thinking?" He questions suspiciously.

"Just thinking for now." I chuckle.

"Alright. Good. I'll catch you around. Maybe we can go get drinks later!" He grins.

"Yeah. I'm down. You bringing that new girl you've been talking to?" I ask.

"I might. What's it to you?" He asks, crossing his arms.

"Relax. I was just saying, if you're bringing her, then I may want to bring someone of my own." I say.

"Wait. You're talking to someone? Tell me right now." He says.

"Rose." I say.

"Reilly?" He asks. I nod. "Wow. How'd you get her to talk to you? I say hi, and she looks at me like I just said I hate her."

"We've been friends since we were little. She's not as... Lonely as she seems to be. She's a really cool girl. I think once you two break the ice, you'll be great friends." I tell him.

"Okay, well I've got to go get ready to kill Luke Harper. See you in the lot later after the show?" He asks.

"You got it." I say.

Rose POV

Paige made her entrance, and I came out soon after. The stares we gave each other was enough to determine that we did not like each other.

Every person has a weakness. They all have flaws, and I will find hers.

The bell rang, and we locked up as I forced Paige into the corner. I gave her a knee to the stomach, and backed away.

She grinned, nodding her head slightly.

I bowed at her, and we locked up again. Again, I forced her into the corner, and kneed her in the gut.

This time when I backed away, she looked genuinely pissed.

She came running at me, but I dodged her. I took this as an opportunity to give her a backstabber.

I covered her, but she kicked out at two.

"Come on, Paige! I thought this was your house!" I taunted her, pushing her down with my foot each time she went to get up.

Making her way to her feet, she caught me off guard with a kick to the jaw.

She went for a cover, and I kicked out at two.

"Come on!" She shouts at the ref.

I was pulled off the mat as Paige went to set me up for the Rampaige.

I swung my way behind her, and pulled her down to the mat in a rollup.

"Here is your winner, Rose!"

I rolled out of the ring, and smiled at Paige. She couldn't believe it.

"No!" She screams at me as I walk up the ramp backwards.

I just beat the Diva's Champion.

"THIS IS MY HOUSE!" She screams as she holds up the title.

"Not for long!" I yell back, walking through the curtain.

"There she is." Roman smiles.

"Here I am, and with a win under my belt!" I cheer.

"I think a celebration is in order. How about you, me, Ambrose, and Allie go out for drinks after the show?" He asks.

"I think that sounds like a fabulous idea." I say, taking a drink of water.

"Great. I'll go let him know. Congratulations on the win, too. Looks like someone may be a future Diva's Champion." He winks, walking away down the hall behind me.

Future Diva's Champion? I like the sound of that.

I just hope I'd be a convincing Champion. I'm not exactly good at talking trash.

I guess we'll see.

This was just the beginning of something good that's about to come.
