Tonight, I would be defending my title against Victoria.
"You're sure you're up for this? She's got a lot of time on you. Them oldies have their tricks." Roman says.
I laugh, nodding my head.
"I've seen all of her matches. I know exactly what I need to do to make sure either retain tonight." I say.
"What's one thing you've always wanted to do when you got older?" He asks.
"Move to some place secluded, so no one can bother me." I answer him quickly.
"I always wanted to move to the beach." He says.
"Well, you can move to the beach while I hide in the woods for the rest of my life." I chuckle.
"You're one strange cat, Rose." He smiles.
"Someone's got to do it." I shrug.
"I was thinking since we're on the west coast, we can go out to eat after the show?" He asks.
"I think that sounds spectacular." I grin.
"Wear something slightly casual. It's nothing too fancy." He tells me.
"You got it." I nod.
As we pulled up to the arena, there were fans everywhere.
"Rose! Rose!" A young lady screamed.
I waved at her as I pulled my bag out from the back seat.
"I love you Roman!" A little girl squealed.
"Love you too, little lady!" He smiles, taking my hand as we headed inside.
"Oh boy. This should be a fun next few minutes. I forgot to tell the girls we're back together." I laugh.
"Let's act like we're not." He suggests. "Let's pretend we hate each other."
"But I don't want to." I frown.
"I thought you'd want to have fun with them." He laughs.
"We will later, right now I've got a match I need to prep for. I'll see you later." I smile.
Going against Victoria was going to be one of my toughest tests to date, but I didn't come this far just to lose. I didn't work all these years to be beaten.
"There she is." Brie smiles.
"Hey! How are you? How's Bryan?" I ask.
"He's healing. It's tough on him, but he'll be back stronger than ever." She nods.
I chit chat with the other girls while I was getting ready, and had a few good laughs.
"Showtime." I smile, grabbing my title.
"Kick some ass!" Nikki yells.
"You got it!" I holler back to her.
Rose VS Victoria (Diva's Championship)
As soon as she stepped into the ring, I had a bad feeling about this match.
The bell rang, and we locked up. I was pushed back into the corner with ease as the ref pulled Victoria back.
"Come on, rookie! You're making this too easy for me." She laughs.
I raise an eyebrow at her, and do something I thought I'd never do.
I slapped her right across the face.
"How's that for being a rookie?" I ask, shoving her on her ass.
She sat there, mouth hanging wide open at what I had just done.
She shook her head slowly as she got up.
Soon enough, she returned the favor.
Once I was up, all hell broke loose in the ring.
We were going to town with punches, and forearms, not caring what would happen.
She got me leaning against the ropes, and I took advantage of throwing her out of the ring.
I got out of the ring, ready to take advantage of her being there.
Instead, she threw me into the steel post.
"That's more like it. Stay on the ground, brat!" She yells.
The crowd was boring her.
"Shut up!" She screams.
What she did next was completely uncalled for.
She drug me over to the post, and rimmed my foot against it a good 4,or 5 times.
A sharp, sharp pain shot throughout my left foot, and ankle.
"STOP! STOP, STOP, STOP!!" I cry.
She didn't stop, though. She kept hitting it against the post repeatedly.
"Here is your winner, and still Diva's Champion, Rose!"
That only made her angrier.
Shot, after shot against the steel, the worst the pain got.
"GET HERE OFF!" I scream.
The Diva's came rushing down the ramp trying to get her away from me, and it worked.
Brie, and Nikki were at my side as soon as they got there.
"Are you okay?" Nikki asks, brushing the hair out of my face.
I shook my head, trying my best to not let the tears fall from my eyes.
"I'm pretty sure my foot, and ankle are broken." I say as calm as I could.
Finally, the trainer made his at over to me once the coast was clear.
"How does it feel?" He asks.
"Don't even bother. I ready know it's broken." I shake my head.
Nikki, and Brie got me up, and took me to the back.
"What the hell was that out there?!" I see Roman yell in Hunter's face.
"It's fine. Come on, I need to go to the hospital." I tell him.
He picks me up without another word, and carried me out to the car.
"I swear I am going to end him if he just let her go out there, and do that. That was completely unnecessary." He fumes.
"Its whatever. I don't even care. She'll get what's coming to her. I can tell you right now, those girls in the back will not let her get away with this." I say.
I tried to set my foot down on the floor as gently as I could, but another sharp pain shot through my foot, making me wince.
"I guess our date is off tonight, huh?" He asks, holding onto my hand lightly.
"For now. We can have a room service date when we get back to the hotel." I smile.
"Movies too?" He asks.
"Movies too." I smile. "Who knows, maybe this was a sign." I say.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"Maybe this is a way of telling me now isn't my time to be the top girl. I just got lucky." I said. "One match was all it took."
"Don't say that. You're an incredible champion, and an even more incredible girlfriend. Cheer up, baby. This is a mountain you need to climb to be the best." He tells me.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too, Rosie poo!" He says.
I snap my head toward him, and he immediately starts laughing.
"Come on. We've got a foot to look at." He says, getting out of the car to come help me out.
