10. |All Or Nothing|

Tonight was the night Paige invokes her rematch.

"Don't sweat it. You got this. You're one hell of a fighter, Rose." Roman tells me.

"I'm not nervous. I just don't want her to go after my throat like she did before. That really hurt." I say.

"Well, you need to pick something to target on her." He says.

"I'm not going to target anything. I'm perfectly capable of winning it just with my skill." I say.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." He sighs.

"What's what supposed to mean?" I ask.

"Nothing. I'm just trying to help you, and give you advice, but you won't take it." He says.

"I don't need advice. I've been doing this much longer than almost all those girls back there. I know what it takes to beat Paige." I say.

"I'm not doing this right now." He groans.

"Doing what?" I ask, confused.

"Arguing." He says.

"This is arguing?" I ask.

"You're arguing." He comments.

"You have absolutely got to be kidding me." I say.

"Nope." He shrugs.

"Well, whenever you want to stop acting like a five year old, I'll be waiting." I say, walking away.

What the hell got into him? I only said I don't need advice.

I shrugged it off, and went to go get ready for my match.

Walking to the locker room, I was greeted my numerous other stars.

"Rose!"

"Seth!" I copy him.

"Oh how cute. A mime." He says.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Can't I just see an old friend without all the questions?" He asks innocently.

"You're an old friend for a reason, Seth. I'd like it to stay that way." I say, walking away.

Finally, I mad either to the locker room to get ready for my match.

The room was empty, but there were bags everywhere. Strange.

"Anyone here?" I called into the showers.

Nothing.

I started to take off my shoes when Brie comes rushing in.

"Rose come with me!" She says, breathlessly.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"It's Paige." She says.

I run with her down a couple hallways, and that's when my stomach nearly hit the floor.

Paige was laying in the hallway, face down.

"What the he'll happened?!" I ask, rushing to her side.

"We were just walking to catering, and she just dropped. The trainers are getting a stretcher." Alicia says.

"Damn it. We were supposed to have our match tonight. I'll be back." I say, walking away.

"I don't know man, she's just getting too hard to handle."

Roman.

"Hard to handle? It's Rose."

Dean.

"You sure do defend her a lot." Roman says.

"You sure do talk a lot of trash on her behind her back. Maybe if you aren't happy with her, you should just leave. It's not like she needs you to own her down. She's finally getting the time she deserves." Dean says.

I run past, pretending like I never heard anything.

"Steph!" I shout.

She turns to look at me.

"I assume you heard about Paige?" She asks.

I nod.

"I still want to defend tonight. Can I pick a new challenger?" I ask.

"I don't see why not. You can pick either Nikki, Brie, or Eva Marie." She says.

"Thank you." I smile.

She laughs, walking away.

I checked to see how Paige was doing one last time before getting ready.

"So here's the deal. I can either face Nikki, Brie, or Eva tonight for the title." I explain.

"Who's it going to be?" Brie asks.

"Well, I was thinking about a person. I might choose a different one. Not sure yet." I say. "Just make sure you're all dressed."

They nod.

Raw started, and the show was kicked off by The Authority.

They were talking about how everyone needs to respect Seth. Blah, blah, blah.

I was on after them.

Making my way to gorilla, Ambrose sent me a weak smile which I returned.

It was time.

Lilian explained everything, and what I was to do.

"I was really looking forward to facing Paige tonight, but unfortunately that's not going to happen. There was a small issue backstage, and Paige had to leave. I still am defending this title right here tonight, but I'll be going against a new challenger. I can pick either Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, or Eva Marie. It only takes one chance to notice your true potential. One chance to have everything you've ever wanted. I know that from experience, but all in that moment, it could be a waste of time. I may have shocked the world when I won this title. I think I'll shock the world again with my new challenger. Ladies, and gentlemen, my new opponents for tonight are... Nikki, Brie, and Eva Marie! I said I will be a fighting champion, and why not have a huge first title defense?"I grin.

The crowd goes crazy as Nikki, and Brie made their way down to the ring, followed by Eva.

This was a real test of how much I was too be champion.
