It was a hard fought battle, and luckily I came out on top on Raw. There were a couple times I thought I lost it, but I hadn't.
"You're going to be one hell of a champion, Rose." Nattie tells me.
"Thank you." I smile at her.
"So how are things between you and Reigns?" She asks.
I bit my lip to keep from letting out the giant sigh I had wanted.
"On a rocky road." I say.
Her eyes grew wide.
"What? What happened?" She asks, crossing her arms.
"He got offended that I wouldn't take his advice, then just kind of... Left." I said.
"He got mad at that?" She asks. "Why would he be angry about something that small?"
"Your guess is as good as mine. I did hear him, and Ambrose talking the other day.. I couldn't make out what Roman was saying, but I did hear what Dean said. I kind of just broke after that." I say.
"Did he say something nasty about you?" She asks.
"Oh no! It was nothing negative. He told Roman that if he wasn't happy with me in the first place, not to waste my time." I say.
"Rose, I'm so sorry you're going through this. You don't deserve this." She says, giving me a hug.
"Thank you, Nattie. I really appreciate it." I tell her as she turns to walk away.
Time to turn ahead to Smackdown.
I had some mic time about my title defense from Monday.
From what I understand, my new challenger will be here tonight.
"Hey, Rose?"
I looked up to see Ambrose.
"Hey! What's up?" I ask, giving him a side hug.
"I wanted to talk to you about Roman." He says awkwardly.
"Oh... Um, okay?" I answer him just as odd.
"Look, I'm not going to lie to you like he did. He's been cheating on you, Rose. I can't stand to hide it from you anymore. You don't deserve that.. He's been doing it since day one. I am so sorry it took me this long to tell you." He says.
"He's been cheating?" I ask.
"With Alicia." He nods.
"I honestly can't say I'm surprised. He showed his true colors a couple weeks ago." I say.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'll be alright." I nod, looking over at him.
"I know we don't really talk, but I really needed to tell you." He says.
"Thank you. I admire your honesty." I smile.
"I'll see you around." He says, walking off.
Well that's just great.
I guess he never loved me at all.
Smackdown
I was going over what I wanted to say during my promo when I was interrupted by none other than Roman Reigns.
"Can we talk?" He asks.
"That depends, are you done acting like a five year old?" I question.
He lets out a deep breath, then rolls his eyes.
"I'll take that as a no, then." I say, facing the monitor to watch the segment that was on.
"To be fair, you're at fault here as well." He says.
"Are you kidding me right now?" I ask, turning around.
"Not at all." He says.
"You know what? Maybe when you're not so damn delusional, I'll talk to you. Until then, forget I even exist." I spat, turning back to face the monitor.
"Rose." He says.
"I don't want to hear it. Just leave me the hell alone." I shook my head.
My music hit, and I left him without another word.
"So Monday night on Raw, I had my very first title match. It was a fatal four way. I know, you guys probably think I'm insane. I want to do something no one else has done. I want to be the person everyone looks at, and says 'she's brave.' I want to be the woman that inspires the younger generation. You don't need to defend your title only at pay per view events. You can defend it on Raw, or right here on Smackdown. There are no mountains I would think climb to ensure that I am a successful champion. I may be far from perfect, but I do hope to be a perfect champion. I've been informed that my next challenger will be here tonight, so I wanted to go ahead, and welcome her out here." I say.
The arena filled with silence as we waited.
"I ain't the lady to mess with woo!"
My jaw almost hit the floor.
"Hey there, Rose. I'm just going to guess, and say you're surprised to see me judging by your facial expression. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Victoria, and I'm going to take that title from you." She grins.
"No, you may think you're going to take this title from me. You'll end up like everyone else empty handed, and disappointed." I tell her.
She nods her head, slowly making her way down to the ring.
"You must not know me, sweetheart. I can end your precious little career in the blink of an eye." She says.
"Just like I can end yours with one Boston Crab." I respond.
"We don't have to wait you know. We could settle this right here, right now." She says, rushing to the ring.
She said in, and I nailed her with a spear.
"I would have thought you of all people would've been smarter than that." I laugh, exiting the ring.
